As a Philadelphian, I can admit It’s really hard to find delicious halal food in New Jersey but Zena’s is now my go-to place to order on the occasion I don’t feel like cooking. The gyro sandwich was much larger than I anticipated which is always a pleasant surprise. The pistachio baklava was AMAZING. This place has amazing food. I started ordering from them a while back just because I wanted to try something different than pizza, and I’ve kind of fallen in love with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food ever since.There’s definitely some unique flavors/spices in some dishes that I’m sure a certain percentage of people won’t like.
