Excellent ramen so delicious. Love both the miso and the tonkotsu versions. The Thai iced tea is very good too just wish they gave you a bit more for the price.

No-frills spot for Japanese style dishes that aren’t sushi focused.It’s not common for me to find Japanese restaurants that are NOT focused around sushi! This place looks like Kawa’s second location.I’d describe them as having almost a Chinese takeout spot feeling because they are very no-frills. Small interior, small strip mall, plastic containers and utensils for many of their dishes when dining in.That said it’s kinda cool to have access to dishes like their beef over rice, or Japanese curry with rice.I’d come once more to try their curry and a different ramen, didn’t quite like the profile of the chili lime ramen.

I was very impressed with their Ramen. Whatever they are doing to their pork, they better keep doing it. Both my parents and granparents enjoyed this as their first experience with ramen. Would highly recommend you stop in for a good bowl of ramen.

Price was reasonable for the flavor and quantity. I got ramen, which had a mild broth flavor to me (not too salty but pleasant) I recommend getting the beef kimchi as a side. The place is small as people mentioned, so also recommend take out/delivery

The place is small and cozy. But the ramen is soo much better than ramen from Ani. Broth isnt salty, but its very flavorful. I would definitely come back again.

Great ramen spot! I stumbled upon it and was so happy they had vegan options. It’s a very small place so best for takeout. Everything was made fresh and very tasty. Also the staff were friendly and helpful. I will be back

Small, casual setting with very fast service. Perfect for a lunch break from work. Food is authentic and reasonably priced, especially when compared with higher-end places. Only thing that was wanting were the soft-boiled eggs - they were cooked a bit too long. Highly recommend the Thai Iced Tea.

Obsessed I drive all the way from Elizabeth for this ramen ! Delicious authentic and flavorful! The young lady that helped us was super sweet! Highly recommend

Seems like the only person to leave a bad review of this place was simply just lazy! This place definitely deserves 5 stars! Reasonably priced for the great food and convenience of having this place down the street! They just opened up a few months ago and its great to not have to drive out of town for good ramen anymore! I got dumplings and the tonkatsu ramen and will be back to try other dishes soon ! Keep up the good work Kawa !

DELICIOUS….DELICIOUS…DELICIOUSMy wife and I recently realized that Colonia now has a Ramen House…love it ?. We ordered a Beef Kimchi, a Miso Chicken…and an order of Tako Yaki (Octopus Balls ?). Everything was phenomenal. Quantity was just right. I am not the world’s foremost expert on ramen…but this was truly great ramen. Try something new and give Kawa a try. Also folks, please understand something if ordering from Uber Eats/Grub Hub, etc. Those services do not just pick up your order for delivery, but pick up various orders and then deliver accordingly. So your items may not be the absolute hottest they can be. It takes Kawa 10-20 minutes to prepare your meal…if you want it to be as hot as possible…get in your car and go pick it up.Great job Kawa. We’ll be back
