Don’t allow children. We went on a Wednesday night at 7 pm. Only 2 tables in there and we were told we weren’t welcome with a 2 month old. So we will never be back and we will never go to their other restaurants. Grit and Grain and the Local, both in Richmond Hill. I will be telling everyone I know to avoid these establishments.
It’s also borderline discriminatory to refuse service because you have children.

We take out all the time from here and have never had a bad meal. We ate outside for the first time this evening and it was awesome! Our waitress was attentive and very sweet, the patio is so cute and comfortable, our food was amazing as usual and tonight we added the rice ball special to our order… omg DELICIOUS! Hands down the best food and staff around here.
