When I walked in, I was a little startled because I thought it was going to be classier . Seems like a lot of locals and there was a wedding going on, which seemed a little odd, but once we got comfortable and had a nice drink and our food it end up being pretty good... First time there and didn't know what to expect! Well, it definitely met our expectations. Staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions. Food was plentiful and very good. Resturant was charming and a perfect place for a casual meal or celebration
Really cool historical spot. Not sure what was going on at the bar, it didn’t seem like it was that busy but the bartender was deep in the weeds the whole time we were there. The charcuterie board and the lamb were great (lamb cooked mid-rare to perfection) but the duck was unfortunately so overcooked it was grey. I probably would try this place again, however.
