I was excited to try Vanilla Bean after they reopened, but was unpleasantly surprised. The prices at VB a bit high, seemly because they claim to make their own ice cream. Sadly, I don’t think this is the case, as I saw receipts for hard ice cream flavors that were left on the counter from Glacier Point Enterprises (an ice cream distributor that sells to Haagen-Dazs, Ben & Jerry’s, and more). Just disappointed
Excellent ice cream with a huge range of delicious flavors, but the cherry on top are the employees. Those kids do a great job! Wonderful service, super helpful and always friendly. Inspiring to see a place staffed completely by teens (and young 20 somethings?) do such a great job. Makes the experience even better!
Great ice cream- extremely poor service (specifically from Kelsey 6 PM on Sunday). Rolled her eyes at my baby (yes, baby), visibly got irritated at our 2-scoop one order with no toppings (emphasis on simple order, my baby made no noise). If it seems weird or crazy, it IS. Enough of a weird rude interaction to lose our business.
