The tacos are just okay. They only use one tortilla so when you bite into it it falls apart quickly. The only confusing part was when I asked the cashier what the difference between the steak and the carne asada was, he said they were the same thing but there is a price difference between the two so there is obviously a difference… I don’t mind paying extra but I just want to know what I’m paying for even if it’s different spices/marinade or cooking method? The churros were delicious and crispy. It came with Dulce de leche or chocolate sauce!

The food was amazing. They serve the tacos with this chipotle creamy sauce that easily falls into my favorites now. The food was served in like 5 minutes, lightning fast!
Also, the 4 steak tacos were $15 and they were packed with steak

Yummy steak tacos tho a bit overpriced. $16 for 4 steak tacos. Tacos are served on one tortilla instead of a double shell, so they're very thin. Still delicious and hits the spot!

I ordered a shrimp quesadilla for delivery. Food was OK. Lots of cheese...wish it would've had some onion inside or something on the side like lettuce to cut the cheese flavor. They provided a tiny sour cream and tiny pico de gallo, no spicy sauce which is standard for Mexican food. I'll possibly order something else if I order from here again.

The short rib tacos were VERY good. The chorizo tacos were so salty as to be inedible. We couldn't eat half of the order we paid for (and the restaurant is now closed, so we couldn't go back for a replacement or refund). The chips were good, but the salsa (which is good) is just more of the same salsa that came with the tacos, not worth paying extra for. The person behind the counter when I went to pick up the food was staring at their phone and couldn't be less interested in helping customers. Given how close I am to this place I really wish it was better. I've ordered here once before and had a similar experience in all regards, but wanted to give them another try. Much to my disappointment, I will not be back. There are a lot of local taquerias and Mexican restaurants and I would recommend any them over Folklore Taco in Cranford. I really wish it was better.

Everything was delicious! I had one issue with delivery through a third party app and delivery not showing but when food did arrive, chef’s kiss! I had food from the montclair location prior and was reminded of how delicious it was so to to know it’s closer to me is amazing.
