Their grandma pizza is top notch. Sauce makes their pizzas. Well worth it

Service was terrible, food was cold and overpriced. Bread was burnt and "washing the dishes" entailed a 14 year old boy!!! wiping down dirty ones with a dirty nag (no water or soap). Chef was completely oblivious to how to actually make the meals with multiple other customers complaining in the restaurant that the chef didn't even make them their meal remotely properly. I have to call my credit card company to make sure the kid who also handled the cashier didn't charge me for another persons meal. WORST RESTAURANT EVER!!!!

Food is good but they mess up my order every other time I go ... was too many times I ordered a penevodka sandwich and I receive a chicken parm instead, even call and ask them to make sure still get the wrong food.

Assholes took my money and order and didn't even deliver my order . Called at 9:15, placed a full order, took my card info, and never got it delivered or answered 2 of my calls. Definitely don't give this place business

*UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP* I used to enjoy Scaturro's pizza- it was right out of the oven fresh, with a nice pizza flavor. The counter girls were very pleasant to deal with. They accepted credit cards. Unfortunately they recently sold out to a new owner. When you walk in, it's kind of dark as they turned most of the lights off. No counter girls. No more credit cards- you have to pay with cash. The man by the oven said they're a "new business" that's getting up to speed. I sure hope so because the pizza was...well...we couldn't finish it. It was rubbery with a funky taste/texture. We tried to finish it but just couldn't and dumped it in the trash. Seriously, who can't make a decent plain pie? Will not be returning, until I start seeing some positive reviews here. They need to get their act together. Quick.

I was wondering why the Pizza was so delicious and then realized it used to be Scatera’s. Boy am I glad they are on Grubhub and deliver to Fanwood. Their eggplant parm subs are amazing. I hope they add some kind of sweet or dessert someday.

We just picked up a few slices of pizza with meatballs and they were raw. My husband went back and they stuck them in the oven for a few seconds and sent out the same thing. There was no way I was eating pink meatballs. Very disappointed. We also had picked up penne vodka a few days ago and it was runny and greasy. This used to be one of my favorite places. No more.

**WARNING: NEW AWFUL OWNERSHIP**An hour after ordering for a pickup, three mistakes, not knowing what a "dry" aka no sauce pasta means, forgetting to include the full order in the bag... The food came back absolutely atrocious and clearly not cooked by someone WHO CAN COOK. Don't even bother with this establishment, they'll be closed in no time at all.

Maybe my favorite pizza place in the area. Great food, their pizza is dynamite (try the thin crust), be sure to try the Hotsy Totsy Shrimp sandwich on garlic bread with spicy sauce & mozzarella, and their strombolis are enough to feed 3 people. Fast delivery, super nice people. A little expensive but you get a ton of food.
No sure what happened to this place in the last few months , this has been my go to place for almost 5 years sometimes several times week. I am just a couple blocks away they normally show up crazy fast after i order. Even during the pandemic it was fine In the past couple weeks I have placed orders on slice and grubhub - the orders process they say its all good , its a normal operating day for them like i have always ordered from them and 30 minute past the window they food still didn't show and no one answers at the place.First time i thought it was fluke , maybe they had announced closing and just forgot to update the software , second time ok maybe just bad luck place has been great for years , ill give them the benefit of the doubt. 3rd TIME ok something going on.Last time i ordered i called in my order after the last two online failures in prior weeks and i got something i get probably 2-3 time a month from them the Chicken parm sandwich which i normally love - Eating it just didn't taste like it normally did it tasted bland and just thought something was off - i mean i couldn't put my finger on it but it just tasted bad to the point i threw more then half of it out, i thought maybe it was just me or something , again gave the benefit of the doubt but that night i had the worst stomach pains all night into the next day , didn't even have dinner .Not sure what's going on but on top of bad service , bad online response now the food is bad on top of it - i have no clue whats going on loved this place for years but now its screwed me over for my lunch 3x times in month or so and the one time recently they did deliver , the food was bad , the thing ive ordered more then anything else and i got sick from it .

This has been my go to spot for a plain pie for about two years now up until today. This place two times in the last two weeks accepts my order on Grubhub we wait an hour for food and the order is cancelled bc the place is closed . Their facility shows they are open on grubhub they take the order the system prompts a eta and even says the order is arriving soon and they never come! Then you call grub hub and they tell you the place is closed sorry for the inconvenience we will refund your money. Umm I'm hungry!!! My kids are hungry! Now I have to wait again for food ! They just a lost a regular so unprofessional get it together .

Ordered a cheesesteak specialty pizza and it tasted dry and like they just threw slices of American cheese on top. Very disappointed.
