This store is never open. I tried to buy some fish at least 8 times and they are never open even after the hours say open at 1 on a Friday. Very disappointing I give up will not try again

No one mentioned in their reviews that this is a hole-in-the-wall and you’re transported back to 1978 when you walk in. Probably because the service is amazing and the food is so so fresh. We got the fried calamari with hot and sweet marinara sauce, shrimp cocktail, New England clam chowder, and for an entree I got the special’s scallop and shrimp scampi. Everything was amazing. I was especially impressed with how plump and fresh the shrimp were.
I just wish it had some sense of atmosphere…even just telling the chef to turn off his Top 40’s hits he was listening to in the back.

Had a great meal with my family here. Drove past probably hundreds of thousands of times. Loved the atmosphere. Great service. Excellent quality of the food. I'm glad I finally know what it looks like inside!!!! I'm a water person and a born and raised NJ local, the decor was exquisite. Here's to many more generations of my family enjoying this special spot.

This was a quaint seafood restaurant with a truly local clientele, or at least it was at 2pm on a Friday. The Halibut special was memorable and the crab stuffed flounder impressed as well. The wait time for your food to be cooked to order is well worth it.

Wife and I have been dining at Maino's for 30yrs. Mike, Richie and Maureen make it an institution. Small and quiet, the food is all natural and organic, and of course, delicious. Last night was the broiled seafood combo over scampi pasta. The smell alone is worth the visit. Best seafood around!
Just loved this quaint little neighborhood spot. Great hospitality and fresh seafood. I tried the seafood combination with shrimp, scallops and haddock it came with coleslaw, baked potato and a salad. Plenty of parking in lot across the street. We will definitely be back!

This was a delightful surprise. Across the street from the main stay is this little hole in the wall. It was small and cozy on the inside and I was expecting just fried stuff. I wanted to order all their specials, as they all sounded Delicious. The seafood soup was one of the best I've had, the crab cakes were excellent. I was pleasantly surprised with the Buffalo style shrimp. The beer batter cod was very good, and the seasoned salmon was excellent. I can't wait to get back over there! I was just passing through on the way home from work.. Don't miss this Gem ( if you love seafood)

Absolutely spectacular. I've been meaning to visit this place for years and now I'm so glad I did. It's like going to visit a friend's house. So welcoming, like being home. The food was fresh. Lots of options for seafood. Portions were resonab9. Not huge but sufficient. I would definitely recommend.

I was there for a family birthday dinner party of 8. It was a very intimate space, very small, it just so happen it was a Sunday and it was not a big crowd so it was perfect.

Food was absolutely delish. Got the spicy crab soup. A smidge salty but that is me just knit picking. Very very good. Then got the muscles (spicy) not much spice and was really just red sauce on top but the muscles were fresh and large. Husband loved them. Then I got the shrimp and stuffed mushroom scampi and oh my LORD was this amazing. So fresh so good so much flavor and all in all just such a great dish. Husband got the stuffed flounder. Beyond amazing as well. First time here and really filled up prior to our meals which was unfortunate but still really enjoyed it. Secret little restaurant that will definitely become a regular date night spot!!
