I had such a great experience at Playa Bowls today! Ariana and Shannvah were super friendly and welcoming — their customer service was honestly amazing. They offered samples, which helped me decide what I wanted, and they made my bowl really fast without compromising the quality. The bowl was delicious, and their positive energy made the visit even better. Definitely coming back thanks to them!

I had such a wonderful experience at Playa Bowls today! The store was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I decided to try a custom smoothie, and Ariana and Shaunnah were absolutely wonderful. They took the time to listen to my preferences and helped me create the perfect blend. Not only did they make a delicious smoothie, but they also offered great conversation, making my visit truly enjoyable. Their positive attitudes and genuine kindness made all the difference. I'll definitely be back, thanks to Ariana and Shaunnah!

The place is small but cozy and clean. The service was good, and the presentation and flavor of what we ate were excellent. I want to go again. I recommend it. 🥰👍
I came to this location last night and I had the most positive experience especially regarding Ariana and Shannauh, my bowl was made in, I kid you not, 10 seconds! Not to mention how friendly they were with providing samples and insight. I definitely recommend stopping by when these two are working👍🏼

I’ve been to this location multiple times, and the service is consistently disappointing. They don’t pay attention to special requests—I always ask for extra peanut butter, yet they never add it. Instead, the staff just look at each other as if they don’t check the receipts before preparing orders.
Additionally, the Dolce smoothie here is not good. I wouldn’t recommend it at this location. The one in Elizabeth is much better—they know how to make it properly there.
Overall, poor attention to detail and inconsistent service.

Everytime I go to this location they are very inconsistent with how they make the bowls. I bought a bowls today and asked for extra Nutella and granola and got the opposite. It was a few strawberries, barely any granola and no extra Nutella and barely any in the bowl. It’s like certain crew members know how to make the bowl and some do not. Whenever I come and there’s a group of girl who remember my order by heart they are consistent and provide a packed bowl with all I ask. I’m going to start trying to go to a new location moving forward.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Playa Bowls tonight. I placed a mobile order and arrived 10 minutes later, only to wait an additional 20 minutes before finally receiving my food. The three employees working had noticeable attitudes, making both me and other customers visibly uncomfortable.
To make matters worse, the three orders before mine were incorrect and had to be remade—a clear sign of carelessness. When I finally received my order, it was poorly assembled and far below the usual standard. The state of the store was equally appalling—trash and Wendy’s packaging littered the side counter, flies were everywhere, and, most concerningly, the employees were actively spraying chemicals near the food prep area while rushing to leave. As a result, my meal reeked of cleaning products and was completely inedible.
By 9:25 PM, rather than assisting customers, the staff was singularly focused on closing early. They had even stacked all the chairs to prevent anyone from sitting, making it abundantly clear that customer experience was not their priority. Their unprofessionalism and disregard for basic service standards were astonishing.
If management values the reputation of this location, I strongly urge them to review what transpired on February 1, 2025, at 9 PM, and take appropriate action. These employees should not be in customer-facing roles.
Disappointed and highly unlikely to return.
