Really good! There used to be a Red Crab in Flemington that we used to go to but it closed recently. Super glad to have found another one in Cranford. We ordered a 1/2lb each of snow crab legs, shrimp (with head), black mussels, and sausage in the juicy combo sauce with mild spice. We also ordered their crab and pork soupy buns, clam strips, and noodles. Seafood - Everything was cooked really well! The sauce was delicious with huge pieces of garlic chunks and the spice wasn't bad. I will definitely be trying a spicier level on my next visit. 2lbs of seafood was also a good amount. Crab and pork soupy buns - Tasted good but wasn't too soupy. Definitely not up to par with soup dumplings from actual dim sum restaurants. Clam strips - pretty basic. wasn't over-fried so I was happy with that. Noodles - very good garlic sauce! We also added it to our bag of seafood to coat them in the seafood boil sauce and would definitely recommend doing this! The restaurant was easy to find. Parking is street parking but wasn't an issue on a Thursday night. It is BYOB, they offer water and sodas for purchase there. Service was very attentive and the restaurant was very clean. At the end of the night, our bill was less than we were planning on spending for the night (and way less than other seafood boil restaurants that we've been to) so we're always happy with that!

I have been dying to try them since they opened. I was not a big fan of seafood but lately I have been craving it more and more. I had their Low country boil which was absolutely delicious. Husband had a roll that he didn't particularly like (nothing wrong with it, it's just one of those times when you're not sure what to order and end up ordering the wrong thing) but he agreed that it was well cooked.I just wish the overall ambiance was better. It was pretty empty on a weekend with just another table, so the restaurant was quiet. I'm not a fan of loud environments, but they were whisper quiet. I wish they did something to attract more customers because they definitely have the potential to cater to a lot more people.I will come back for their boil, it was delicious and it made me want more!

The service here was great! The food was delicious. I had the shrimp po'boy, crab and pork soupy buns, and the crab dip. Everything tasted amazing and was full of flavor. I look forward to going back!

My Sister and I stopped in for my Birthday Lunch. Never had been before. Just happened to drive by & decided to stop in! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was wonderful and we even ordered extra takeout as the food was so seasoned well.I walked out thinking.." to whom can I fast forward an invite sharing in this eating experience?" Return, return, return!! That's how impressed we were with the Red Crab Juicy Seafood!Vegetarian options: The menu quite versatile in vegetarian options!Parking: Parked on street in metered paying slots. Didn't see an off street parking lot.

I had ordered the weekend special and according to the menu I was supposed to get 1/2 of crab all I got was one small cluster? And I weighed it not even 6 ounces I called the place and they told me that one cluster weight 1/2 lbs very misleading and unprofessional I will never order from them or recommend this place

I gave one star to the delivery guy that place is a ripoff they charge me $65.00 and the food wasn't what it was on the menu, I had ordered the weekend special and on the menu said that 1/2 lbs of crab and 1/2 of shrimp was part of the order I just got 1 small cluster and 6 shrimp I called to complain and it seems like for them that was a 1/2 lbs I weighed it and it wasn't even closed to 1/2 lbs I don't recommend this place at all

I thought this was going to be a wonderful experience we have a red crab juicy in Newark and there phone is amazing. So I thought Cranford should be a better dinning experience. The service was amazing the food was not good the crawfish was not fresh The seasoning was off. The shrimp cooked perfect. Clams great, the crawfish was not as fresh I sent it back. Within 5 mins my stomach was not happy. No not this location for me.

Terrible online ordering experience.Arrived at the time my confirmation stated and was told they stopped orders. We had paid by credit card. They said they would make up the order. We waited another 35 min. Customer service was non existent. Coconut shrimp were fine. Lobster rolls had more cucumber than lobster. So much for local take out. Never again.
went here for dinner... looking to try their version of a seafood boil... you know... the ones you get your seafood steamed or cooked in a big plastic and then they open it in front of you on your table... the wife had the snow crab shrimp crawfish with spaghetti noodles... she liked it except the crawfish which was a bit on the smelly side... ordered just the clam chowder... but it was way below my benchmark... the egg fried rice was just as expected... i give it a 4 for the cleanliness and ambiance...

I went on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and I liked how it wasn’t crowded at all. The customer service was good and found out it’s byob which is wonderful. The prices are the average to these type of restaurants. I had the combo deal which is definitely a great price for the amount of seafood in the platter. The spices they used for the cajun mild was pretty good compared to other seafood boils I’ve been to. I recommend the place for affordable food and great customer service.

Came here randomly and I'm so happy I did! The food was AMAZING, the waitress was really nice and quick. The food came out hot, fresh and well seasoned. The prices are really good too. I will be back!

My friend and I had dinner at the Red Crab in Cranford .The staff was very nice and accommodating. The place was very clean and inviting. The food was just ok. Ive been to the one in Newark and the food is much better. I ordered a 1/2 pounds of crab legs and I literally got 1 crab cluster. I ordered the exact same dish at the Newark location and I got 2 1/2. I asked the server about the difference and she had no answer. I will probably not go bsck to that location but I will patronize other locations.

Went for dinner - it's was good, probably give it 3 1/2 stars - I had the New England clam chowder - a little too watery for me but still pretty tasty - also had fried calamari which was good, not chewy, comes with just the spicy Asian sauce - dinner we had shrimp & crab legs - comes as a boil with potatoes & corn - again it was good but since I'm not a crab person like my wife, I'll probably try something different - we picked lemon pepper sauce for the broth - I thought it was a little salty, but again that was my taste - overall we will go back again just not on regular basis -
