Played there today. Staff is very, very friendly and helpful. Real down to earth people. Course is in pretty good shape, especially for the low price they charge. Just an overall great golfing experience
I’ve lived in the Cream Ridge area over 25 years and had 2 decent discoveries this weekend. Hanover GC has a nice natureal grass and decently kept driving range and generous bucket of balls for $5 a pop - if you prefer grass over mats, give it a shot. Second, I played Gambler Ridge for the first time in over 15 years. They are making logical and steady improvements. The greens and fairways are in good late-September conditions. The tee-boxes, meh, but it’s a tee box, put it on a tee. The staff is welcoming and professional and anytime you have Bill Marine as your head professional, you’re starting off with 4 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed the round. I’ll be back.
Mike is awesome, his personality is what gambler’s should reflect. Had the hot dogs which we liked.

New owners. Treating bar and grill as a profit center. Kind of sad. Ordered a soda for 3.50, which is 12 ounces of plastic cup filled with ice and a couple of ounces of soda.
You want a refill to take out on the course? 3.50 every time. Double checked. Guess that is the going rate. Not about the money, but good to know the place has turned nickel dime.
staff was awesome, course was in good shape definately will be back.
it is a beautiful golf course with a friendly staff and great food
Played today & course is really starting to take shape. More open with less trees but wind & soon to grow in wild grasses present some challenge. Greens are in nice shape. Overall an enjoyable course for the average golfer
Came in today with a big crew after a day picking apples & pumpkins. Service was great. Bartender was awesome, I wish I caught her name but she was really sweet and helpful. Since we had a big group & half were kids their food came out first & it was perfect. My son devoured the chicken tenders & fries. He said they were awesome & he is picky with his chicken tenders. I had the crispy chicken sandwich. It was delicious. I would definitely drive the 45 minutes to have it again. Overall great experience.

Recently moved nearby. My husband was craving a burger and Google recommended Gambler's Ridge. We were looking forward to it but had an odd experience. Walked in and were surprised the place was so dirty. For context, that's not the kind of thing my husband usually notices (perhaps also relevant, we did not comment on it to each other until after we left). Not a deal breaker, maybe they were understaffed and we weren't there to eat the furniture or windows. The waitress came to our table and said she would be right back to take our order. 20 minutes later she was still standing behind the bar, occassionally chatting with other people but she clearly wasn't busy and avoided eye contact with us. No one brought water glasses or wiped the crumbs and spilled beer off the table. While the bar had patrons, the tables were mostly empty. Eventually we took the hint and left without service.

Wanted to try something new and drove 30 minutes to get here. Lauren, one of the bartenders, was the best! I will definitely be back when I know she's working. Thanks for making my afternoon a lot of fun Lauren you're the best!

Passed the sign for last 3 years and finally went to check it out. So glad we did!! Great out-of-the-way find! Atmosphere rustic but charming with lots of wood. Food was great. Beer nice and cold. Kevin gave superb service. We will definitely be back to our new favorite place!

Course in good shape. A few fairways being aerated but who’s ever in the fairway. Lol
