“Last night 6 of us who have been to Plumstead many times went for dinner, Food was great as always (prime rib, stuffed shrimp, champagne chicken, chicken stir-fry excellent,) On this visit however our server was not very pleasant. It started with asking for separate checks which she said she couldn't do. One guest asked for cole slaw instead of salad and she said no subs, but on previous visits we could sub. Another server came over and was very pleasant complimenting one of our party on their Christmas sweater, the manager offered to take a picture of our group. Our server reached across other diners to serve food or drink instead of walking around to put in front of them. Probably should have said something to the manager upon leaving. We know her name but will only say it starts with a P.”

“The barbacoa was tasty, and the rice bowl has a pretty good sized portion. A little odd that the shredded cheese is portioned to the side, so it doesn't melt at all... But the flavor and portion size were certainly above average for the park.”

“It was our honor and privilege to be a part of a dear friend's B'day Bash last Sunday at Kochi. Dining at Kochi was one of the, if not THE, most memorable experience ever. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. From the cool berry drink and amazing classic South Indian appetizers, to the numerous - and for us, many new - items that kept appearing in front of us almost magically during the main meal, served in the traditional South Indian style (on banana leaves), right through the delectable halwa and delicious jaggery rice payasam (desserts), we could feel the love and careful attention with which each item was prepared and pride with which each item was served. Plus, being served by Mr. Matthew himself was, in and of itself, humbling. He patiently explained the intricacies of each delicacy which helped us understand the complexity of the cuisine's varied flavors. To be actually seated (for hours) and served at the table greatly enhanced the culinary experience. We have rarely, if ever, felt that we have consumed a feast - but now, can proudly say so - because of Mr. Matthew and our experience at Kochi. This one-of-a-kind mesmerizing event will remain etched as an indelible lifelong memory. Thank you so much - for making this magic happen. Wish Mr. Matthew only the very best in all his endeavors ! “Everyone here was SO kind. Great food too! Highly recommend the subs! Sometimes delis give you the rush treatment just trying to get through a line but everyone working was so friendly and patient and explained which coolers and chips were included with our subs. Even asked if we were packing our sandwiches in a cooler so they could be wrapped in plastic to avoid becoming soggy! Staff was speaking so kindly to each other behind the counter. What a refreshing experience, thanks so much!! Definitely a hidden gem, we'll be back many times!”

“Went to Mission BBQ at Hamilton Marketplace in Hamilton, NJ on a Friday about 4 pm. Not many people there but more came in as we were eating. We were greeted as we came in. Guy behind the counter was patient with us as we decided what to order. We ordered barbecued shrimp (8 pieces in the order) and salmon ( a nice sized portion). We also ordered a salad to share (nice sized portion). Food came quickly and we really enjoyed it. A server named Justice was in the dining room and was very attentive. Overall, we really enjoyed it and plan to return.”

“This is the perfect blend of cuisines for our family on a takeout night. Food is priced well for the quality and we usually get a mix of Sushi, Japanese appetizers and Thai dishes for the adults and American Chinese food for the kids as they have plain lo mein, fried rices and combinations which are better suited for a younger palate.”

“Food was so absolutely incredible it might have ruined all other Italian food for me. Great customer service, staff were very friendly. The bread was an incredible base for the butter along with the marinara dip. Then there was the spaghetti with meatballs that came with a salad. The salad was great on its own. The pasta was incredible, and the meatballs balls were so tender that they just crumbled in your mouth. Overall the place was great. 10/10 would come again.”

“Stopped for lunch with hubs and friends. We we're looking to share a pizza, this is NOT that place. Yes, personal size for dine in. We opted for sandwiches. 2 ordered the roast pork, broccoli rabe, sharp provolone and both finished and raved how delicious 😋 Other 2 of us ordered the cheesesteak with LTO, red wine vinegar and olive oil, I added light mayo. The rolls these sandwiches were served were fantastic 😋 The sammies were NOT "packed" with fillings like a cheesesteak joint. Nicely presented with homemade potato chips. Quality of ingredients is huge because I can't eat a lot. The red wine vinegar and olive oil was top notch. I use red wine vinegar almost daily 😋 I would definitely go back for the same meal, about 1hr from my home and worth the trip 😋”
