Samdan Mediterranean Restaurant And Bar

We had a delicious dinner at Samdan. Service was excellent. Portions are very generous. The lamb chops, lamb shank, branzino, and combo platter were wonderful. We enjoyed the small meze plates appetizer which was enough for four people. We enjoyed the baklava for dessert.

The food was very good . The 3 appetizers were delicious. We had the shepherds salad, mezze and zucchini chips. The main courses were huge and made a great dinner the next night

I would come here again and I recommend it.

Absolutely one of the best Turkish restaurants in Cresskill New Jersey! The food was incredibly delicious and felt just like eating in Turkey everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was fast, friendly, and professional. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant, making it a great place for both family dinners and special occasions. Highly recommend trying their kebabs and mezes truly authentic taste! I’ll definitely be coming back.

We rented the bar area for a private party. Everything was perfect. From the courteous staff to the great food. Highly recommend for any future parties in this area.

We celebrated a family event with 35 participants. We we scheduled it in advance and got a nice room that perfectly fitted our needs. The service was perfect and the food and drink were great and diverse. Everyone had a fantastic time!

So glad we rediscovered this wonderful restaurant. The menu is so varied that there is something for everyone and every appetite. The service was attentive and professional when we caught the waiter's eye. Soup selection is superb. Love the lamb and the seafood medley is delicious. Be sure to sit away from large parties of people because three wailing infants and toddlers were tough on the ears. Lunch is luscious here too, especially if you want small bites. Will be back!

Great food. The waiter was a bit clueless. Didn't know how to deal with a large group. They ran out of champagne glasses. Overall a good experience. Will return.

Samdan was renovated, it seemed to have a new ownership. They did not offer the delicious Turkish bread or pita, we had to ask for the pita, which they had. The Sheppard salad was not as good as it used to be, didn’t have much flavor, the main dishes were delicious and plenty of food. We had to return our dessert because it was stale and this was replaced by baklava. The service was just awful and surprising because it was on a Wednesday and the restaurant was quite empty. We had to ask waiter many times for water, ice, bread…

We went for lunch and they have a lunch menu. It doesn’t include dessert but good price and nice size. The service was good and desserts too. For lunch it was quite crowded. Best to make reservations.
