The food is fantastic and the portions are generous. The owner and chef are outstanding, this is a great establishment. My only suggestion is that the servers pay more attention to the customers, such as water refill, wine refill, desert offering. Again, a great place with great food, just needs a boost in the service area.

An excellent dining experience. We had not visited Samdan in many years, since moving to the Jersey Shore. The decor had changed, but the food, the service and the atmosphere were still terrific. And our waiter Harun did a great job of spacing out our meal as we ordered lots of small plates as well as two main courses. Love this place.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate New Year’s Eve, and the experience exceeded every expectation. From the quality of the food to the overall atmosphere, everything was executed with care and excellence. The waitstaff were exceptionally professional, attentive, and knowledgeable, contributing to a seamless and enjoyable evening. We came on Christmas Eve for the second year in a row. The food was outstanding and the portions are generous. I had the grilled octopus appetizer and my husband had fried calamari. I had the lamb shish cubes and my husband had the lamb meatballs for our entrees. I can't say anything bad. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive. We will not wait until next Christmas Eve to be back

We went to this restaurant to spend quality family time and eat amazing food. We were impressed by the ambiance and the quality of the food. There was soft music in the background which was pleasant. The food was healthy, easy on stomach. The portion sizes were great too. We ordered three delicious dips. We ordered chicken, lamb and falafel dishes. They all were tasty. We also ordered kunefe as dessert. Since the portion size is big we ordered one for the table and even had left over.

We had a delicious dinner at Samdan. Service was excellent. Portions are very generous. The lamb chops, lamb shank, branzino, and combo platter were wonderful. We enjoyed the small meze plates appetizer which was enough for four people. We enjoyed the baklava for dessert.

The food was very good . The 3 appetizers were delicious. We had the shepherds salad, mezze and zucchini chips. The main courses were huge and made a great dinner the next night

I would come here again and I recommend it.

Absolutely one of the best Turkish restaurants in Cresskill New Jersey! The food was incredibly delicious and felt just like eating in Turkey everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was fast, friendly, and professional. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant, making it a great place for both family dinners and special occasions. Highly recommend trying their kebabs and mezes truly authentic taste! I’ll definitely be coming back.
