Fantastic Doner, the cuisine is exceptional.

Our family has dined at Samdan for years. We went for a special celebration for the first time since the pandemic and everything was delicious. Glad to find they maintained their high standards. We will return.

Perfect as always. Shout out to Caesar who is attentive, friendly and a class act guy. The food was stupendous. The meat platter for 4 was delectable. And all the starters are great. We love the shepherds salad with feta, the hummus and the babaganoush. The falafel too! Thank you for all the hard work.

Although the food was good, we had a dismal New Years Eve experience at Samdan in Creskill, NJ I had made this reservation, initially for 7:15, about 2 months before . Less than 3 weeks before 12/31, the restaurant called and said they were having a private party, but we could dine at 6:30 until 8:30 I agreed to change time, wrongly assuming the private party would begin at 9 Instead people for the private party were arriving by 7:15- and the restaurant, as regular diners left , kept setting up for this private party As a result our service was horrible, the atmosphere was chaotic and the overall experience was horrific I did complain- but my complaint was taken very lightly Our party of 6 will never return to this restaurant We truly feel they disrespected us!

We dined at Samdan to celebrate my wife's birthday. Everything was wonderful from the time we arrived to our departure. We were greeted when we arrived and shown to a table. The menu is very broad, both in ingredients and in price. Our order was taken, water glasses were filled and wine was delivered. We did not take advantage of the ability to bring our own wine. We ordered a Shepards salad and some Babaghanoush ... both were excellent. The time between courses was managed well. We waited a short time for our entree. We both ordered lamb shish which came with rice and slivered onion garnish. The lamb was very high quality and cooked to perfection. I had told the staff that it was my wife's birthday. We were given a very nice dessert with some candles. We've dined at Samdan in the past and have always been happy. This experience was just outstanding. My congratulations and thanks to the staff.

Another enjoyable experience with attentive service provided by their staff. Their relatively new liquor license added a nice selection of specialty cocktails.

Fantastic as always. Our favorites are the chicken and lamb shish kebabs. Will deinitely go again.

Fresh food served hot is a thing for us and definitely get it here. Service is very authentic. It is the best Mediterranean food in Bergen County!

Don’t trust these people. It’s a new management and they are not professional at all. They took a deposit of $106 ($100 plus tax) for a reservation of 14 and they did not include it in my final check. Told me they never charged my card. So i paid for the check and later noticed they had charged me for the deposit. Don’t trust these people. The old management was much better and more trustworthy. I kept calling them about this and although they admit they overcharged me but they refuse to give my money back.

The appetizers are very good, I recommend all the grills and döner. Definitely try it.

We went to Samdan Mediterranean Restaurant on our last day in New York. We went with 2 kiddos under 10 and ordered the chicken nuggets for them. For the adults, we ordered falafel, tabouli and hummus for an appetizer, and both were very good, had lots of flavor though the portions were smaller than we expected and we needed to ask for the Nan bread.

We followed up with the sultan platter for the table, and it came with rice, we also ordered a bruschetta salad. The portion for the platter was more than enough for 4 adults, and it had an assortment of meats, including lamb, chicken. We accompanied the meal with a bottle of red wine and found the pricing and portion sizes to be good for our group.

Overall, great atmosphere and place to have a nice dinner out for a group of adults.
