After an unfortunate experience somewhere else we called Dooney’s to see if they could accommodate a party of 17 last minute, and they said of course. Half of our party was kids 7 and under. “I love this place! The staff is always pleasant and welcoming. I am vegan, and there are so many plant-based options that are absolutely delicious! This is a terrific option for a healthier fast food experience. The rice and hummus bowls are my favorites, with falafels and/or mushrooms for the protein choice. I'm thrilled that they have eco-friendly compostable packaging as well. Oh, and make sure to use the app to accrue points for real savings on future orders ;)”

Parking: Parking is usually good, as there is a mix of dining in and take out. For the past year, of going every week, we experienced twice, a tight situation of finding a parking spot. You will like.”

“I have never been so disrespected at an establishment! An employee name Alexis treated me and my family incredibly rude. She even went as far as to make racist remarks calling us “you people” saying we are “always causing problems” because we are black and cursing at us. Simply because we wanted to check our food as it has been wrong in the past. Mind you this is MY first time at this establishment! She also told us “don’t come back” and when one of my family members mentioned that she’s been going there for over 20 years and knows the owner Mario she said that he isn’t going to do anything because she’s worked there for 4 years and doesn’t care what we say. I even tried to speak to her respectfully to diffuse the situation and she continued to curse and remain disrespectful. The only reason I didn’t call the police for her discriminatory comments was because my family member wanted to speak with the owner Mario first. SIMPLE TO SAY I WONT BE BACK, which is a shame because the food was good but I can’t justify spending my money with a place who would hire someone like Alexis who is nasty and rude to their customers.”

“Some of the best pistachio baklava I’ve ever had (used to live in an area with lots of Mediterranean restos). This baklava was fresh, lots of crunchy layers of phyllo and huge! I’m not a profiterole fan but the profiterole here hits the spot! Will return!”

“We ended up here for the first time because we found no diners were open at 0630. They have an amazing array of specialty (Brazilian) bakery items some sweet and many savory. I'm no stranger to bakery cases and I didn't recognize the items. They appeared baked in site. The hostess even gave us some to try and it was delicious - sorry I can't remember but it was a round roll with savory cheese inside.Breakfast:We ordered eggs for breakfast but I don't think this is their focus. Eggs were cooked a little heavy / and there weren't any accompaniments customary with breakfast (potatoes or slices of bacon or meat). "American diner breakfast" is my personal preference I won't fault them for that.Beverages:I also didn't have anything to drink because I usually order unsweetened iced tea and they didnt have that. My husband said that the coffee was average.They have a lunch menu as well.Only a few small tables inside and a counter so probably best for takeout.They were packed at 0630 with contracters and landscapers picking up self serve pastries to go.The signage outside and premises inside (worn) do no justice to this gem which serves outstanding Brazilian bakery items. Very friendly staff -prices very reasonable”

“Mega fries were phenomenal, nice and hot and crispy. I also got a small fat boy pizza and it was really good as well. Service was quick and I have no complaints. If I’m ever in the area again I will be back!”

“Great option if you're looking for something healthy but still filling! I especially like the Mediterranean chicken wrap (can get as whole wheat!) because it's very robust with plump and fresh ingredients. The salads are also great, though it's a bit annoying that there are additional charges after you pick 5 ingredients for the create your own option. The pick two option is great too because I like getting a mix of dishes. My only other complaint besides the ingredient limit is that their vegetarian options for sandwiches are a bit limited. I had the Tomato, Mozzarella N Basil panini when I wasn't having meat and it was okay... it ended up getting soggy by the time I got home, which was a bit annoying.Regardless, I would come back and am open to trying so of their other dishes!”
