“Sometimes you gotta go with your gut feelings on a place, and this place did not disappoint. Amazing pizza, great energy. The best pizza here in Riverton, NJ area! it’s gonna be my go to spot now!Kid-friendliness: Service was fantastic for the whole family.Parking: Plenty of parking.”
“The camarones con crema are to die for! Extra delicious if you dip into them with those amazing tortilla chips… try it, you won’t be disappointed ?My favorite meal to have around here!”
“I don’t understand the complaints. I always got really great food here. The general tso’s tofu was always great. The wonton soup was as well. In this area specifically, this is one of the best around. I don’t know if the same person is working the cash register, but a little boy always rung me up and he was perfectly kind. While also doing his homework on the job. The whole family was always very sweet to me.Vegetarian options: Always many options.”
“With an ever-changing menu, I know that no matter what vegan dish I order from Primary it’s always going to be exciting and delicious. Many of the dishes have kept me up at night from the french toast to the cheesesteak and the jackfruit medianoche.Chef Mark has always been hospitable and attentive, and you can tell how much passion he has for his plates and his community. This restaurant is truly a gem in Philly and the team behind its magic deserve all the success. If you’re looking for a place to try, you cannot go wrong by visiting Primary.”
“The food here is absolutely incredible. Just next level sushi that makes you not want to eat sushi from anywhere else. That RICE is just perfect. Also if you're lucky enough to snag a spot at the Omakase then you're in for a REAL treat. :)”
“Having grown up with Texas breakfast tacos I was excited to see a spot in Philly to create what I was missing from home. Bfast taco was good, flavor was def there. A bit on the pricier end for a breakfast taco, even with a homemade tortilla. Was hoping all salsas were given out as well, tried the guaijlo , had good flavor. Not sure if I’ll be a reg just because they’re pricey. But I do appreciate what they are bringing to Philly.”
“Such a great experience. The service was quick. Oh the food ???Vegetarian options: Of the 10 options 3 were vegan based so I’d say that’s a plus!Dietary restrictions: Plant-based preferred”
“A stellar experience from start to finish. Our server, Morrigan, was friendly and knowledgable. Every dish was well thought through. And the decor & ambiance complements the concept brilliantly. It is obvious that this team knows what they’re doing and cares deeply about excellence. Will be back whenever we’re in the city.”
“Bought shrimp tacos, chicken tacos, esquites, chicken tacos and guacamole. The only downside is that the chicken tacos were made with dark chicken thigh meat, I wrongly assumed it would be chicken breast (my fault for not asking).Otherwise good decent food!”
“Definitely the best omakase in Philly!! Quaint bar setting BYOB! Right up close great sushi masters. No special occasion just decided to have sushi with my son. Every course was outstanding! Flavors were amazing. I love seeing the reactions of the other patrons as the eat the courses! Will definitely be back many time hopefully. Well worth the drive great neighborhood ample parking. Beware of the non descript building. At $158 you will be very satisfied with every bite. The ala carte menu has some great add ins priced accordingly 20-38$. They offer hot and cold tea as well as a few soft drinks and water.Parking: Parking down the street metered cash or credit card. Get the appWheelchair accessibility: Same level as street.”
“Very small intimate space with the open kitchen directly on the floor. Had an incredible experience here! The staff was super friendly and bantered with us all night. The stand out to me was the scallop toast, it practically melts in your mouth. Though everything we had was excellent flavor and presentation wise. I will absolutely be back!”
“Oh man! I didn’t know I needed this place in my life but here we are! The Pastéis De Nata was perfect, the iced chai was incredible, and the Antonio breakfast sandwich was everything you’d want from a sandwich. Nothing was left on the plate!”
“My wife and I came here before a musical at the Kimmel center. She decided on it based off of good reviews found on Google and Yelp. We were not disappointed! Parking was a little tough but it didn’t take long to find a close spot. The neighborhood looked decent, unlike most other areas of the city where I feel like my car will be broken into for spare change. The lattes were delicious. They came to us hot, which can be hard to find surprisingly. I ordered the Shawarma, which came with steak, rice, pita, sweet potato fries, and scrambled eggs. She ordered the Entrecôte omelet. The potatoes were amazing. We also split an order of the Baklawa pancakes. Everything was delicious. The avocado tartar spread on my plate went so well with the rice and eggs. We would definitely like to come back here!”
“So lucky to call Herman's my neighborhood coffee spot. There's inside and outside seating, and the market always has something weird and new. Bonus, there are usually Weckerly's ice cream sandwiches in the freezer.”
“Absolutely loved the Sundae. Potato chips and kettle corn must be in all of my sundaes going forward. The latkes were phenomenal - must order. The harissa broccoli was delish. The burrata and focaccia was a delightful favourite. The Caesar salad was overdressed and the croutons were too hard for my preference. The pepperoni pasta was exactly that - not the worst but it was something I'd make drunk in my kitchen at 3 am. Fries were meh.A solid 4 on the food front. Go just for the decor alone, feeling like I was in an 80s golf clubhouse. The pool table is cute and fun too.”
“The intent is clear and well executed. It didn't seem like a place that aims to put pizza on a pedestal rather a well put together representation of desired traits specific to the Philadelphia dining scene. The pizza leaned towards a bar pie, that was executed by someone who has a devout understanding of the dough and the other ingredients involved. The soft serve was well spun and tasty. Overall the hype is real and was a real joy to visit!”
“We decided to try something new for dinner, we didn't have a reservation which is recommended on a Friday but they were nice enough to accommodate us. The restaurant was lively, friendly and the service was great they were attentive. I've never had Lebanese food but the server explained the tasting menu. Everything was fresh and good, if you like Mediterranean food I'm certain this place is for you. It was a good gastronomic experience. If you are in Collingwood it's a must try.”
“This is the second year in a row that my DAR group held our Women's History themed tea at Elwood. Stellar service, I tried things I never normally would like the scrapple (not a fan of it generally), it was a little piece of heaven! All the food is small bites for tea service. The chicken salad on a mini croissant ?. The biscuits, clotted cream, strawberry jam made by the owner's mother! Absolutely scrumptious!!!”
“My daughter took me here and I have to say it was every thing I could have asked for. A true experience to say the least. The cocktails were absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is above reproach. I can not wait to bring my husband when we come back. Thank you so much for a wonderful time.”
“Shared a birthday lunch with my son and was surprised when a slice of cake was delivered to our table. It was a complete surprise as the owner was never informed it was my son's birthday ?.Will definitely return for the delicious food and wonderful staff/chef!”
“Everything was OUTSTANDING.FOOD 10/10 starter - main platter - dessertSERVICE 10/10 super nice people and also they brought us a candle and a little cake four our anniversary :).This is something else in the area, by faaaar the best place that I ever been in Philly!”
“Enchiladas at 10:30am? Say less. Good vibes, extremely nice and attentive waitress who made sure our meal was 100% correct . Can't wait to go back w friends”
“I have only good things to say about this place. I thought at first it was a little odd to have steak tartar served with fries but the pairing was actually really good! Everything was amazing. I have never had such a complex gnocci dish and it's probably the best I've ever had. The scallops were perfect. Mussels, snails... all of it. Everything was just amazing; I cannot stress that enough. I can't wait to go back!”
“One of our favorite places to pop into. Love the little enclosed outdoor environment, the consistent and very enjoyable german food, and of course, the beer! It can get a little loud inside, but we've never had a bad time here. Will be back soon!”
“Food and service were great! We went on half price pizza day, which is a big draw for families, so if you don't mind a bunch of screaming kids then this was a great spot for drinks after work with ”
“Awesome French bistro! We went for happy hour and sat on the patio and had a lovely experience. The deals for happy hour were great and everything we got was very yummy!”
“Service deserves 10 stars honestly. The staff here are incredible every time we visit and they always go above and beyond. The food is genuinely fantastic and worth seeking out in Philly’s crowded food scene.”
“As season ticket holders at the Walnut Street Theater, we found this adorable restaurant looking for a place to grab a bite before shows. We've been here before every show this season, as the food is phenomenal, the owners are the nicest, and the service is top-notch. Plus, subscribers get 20% off! Turkish cuisine is my new favorite!”
“I have never been to Korean bbq before but I will definitely be coming back! The food was delicious, the staff were so friendly and helpful, overall a great spot.”
“Have been here about 3 or 4 times now. Great little cafe, not a lot of people, food was good. Fresh brewed coffee was fantastic. Clean inside the building, seats were comfortable. Will come back.”
