The pizza is perfectly balanced, the wings are 10/10, the mini pizzas are delicious and thick, the meatballs- you HAVE TO try the meatballs. The subs are also stuffed to the brim on fresh bread. “We took a detour on our trip from NJ to Philadelphia last night and stopped here. I am so glad we did! This place is adorable with so many creative choices on the menu. We had two different pizzas, loaded (and I mean loaded!) fried pickles, and two giant pickles on a stick. I don't know if I've ever seen my kids so happy about dinner before. Everything was delicious. The staff is amazing, they brought us out some pickle flavors to try while we were waiting for our food. Who would have thought we would all like cotton candy pickles? There are so many other things we want to try, we will be back!“

The salad was clean, fresh, crisp but a bit overly salted, for me. We devoured the Margherita pizza which was SUPERB! Crispy, chewy good flavored crust, the red sauce was excellent, could use a bit of evoo drizzle and a few more slices mozzarella, for my tastes. We ordered half trays of penne vodka, chicken parm, stuffed shells, garlic sticks, house salad & cheese pizza (for the kids). Our order was complete and ready for pickup at our requested time. The food was fresh and piping hot! Everyone kept asking where the food was from because EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious! My favorite was the penne vodka; it was truly a celestial experience... beyond divine! And the garlic sticks are outta this world!!! Not only was everyone stuffed & satisfied we had plenty leftover for everyone to take home! We look forward to ordering from Montegrillo's again for our next family gathering!“

Went with my family and ordered a XL Pie, which the menu on the wall says “XL 18’ PIZZA 14.95”, I was wrung up on one register as $15.95, but when the waiter took my card, he charged me $26.00. When asked why so much he immediately said the price of the pizza was 19.95 and if I wanted, he could give me a menu. When I requested a menu, he then said he only has the old menu, still he didnt even give me that. When I asked why am i being charged $6 for 2 cans of coke, he then says the man (guessing the owner) told him to charge me for 3 cans (this is the same waiter that took our drinks order and brought us 2 cans). If you want to get swindled, go to this pizza joint. Trust me, I would much rather give my money to an honest family business… but this place just made me decide to stick with the big business conglomerates that are running little family owned places out of business. Sucks, but why steal from your customers? You take their money, break the trust and then you deal with the aftermath of it all. Another interesting fact: someone was coughing up a majestic storm in the kitchen, just pure unadulterated coughing and sneezing. Then theres this delivery guy just eating a slice of pizza at the entrance talking about women, as if there wasn’t a family trying to enjoy some time together. My wife felt uncomfortable, as she should have. Save your money. The flies and theft isn’t worth it. Sad, this was once a good place.“
