So I last got Cafe Crevier a little while back, and I can say that it is one of the best slices of pizza I’ve ever had, which is really high praise (born and raised in Jersey!). Portnoy was absolutely right when he rated this spot an 8.5. Reviewing now cause of the sad news about the fire, but go and check out Bistro Crevier, which is under the same ownership! Hoping all the best for the owner and all the staff!
Dave Port was right on with his pizza review. Its fantastic. I recommend you eat it there. Its too thin to travel with, it's hard to keep it warm or crispy. The service is good and the rest of the menu is good too.
One of the best pizzas of my life. Insanely savory and salty, chewy cheese; sauce to perfectly complement it, as the cheese is the star; thin but sturdy crust that tapers off into cheese crisp with bursting flavor pockets. Compulsively eatable. Even the avocado caprese was good. An underrated tristate gem, not to be missed.
