But, those days are gone. My plain slices were $3, thought they are ~25% larger than your average slice, so not a bad price. And, not a bad pizza either. But not outstanding imo. As we know, pizza is personal. For me, not enough doughy crust. Just your typical good NJ pie. One positive... they Italian man asked me if i wanted it warm or hot. What a nice gesture that all pizzeria should do if you are eating in - ups their rating.

This is my favorite local pizza. There are tons of pizza places around and this is definitely my number one. It’s a delicious crust and always the right amount of cheese. I enjoyed the meatball pizza today. The staff are always friendly and helpful and there is never a long wait. I picked up my pizza and it was ready when they noted. It was hot and delicious.

My parents emigrated from Italy and settled in Brooklyn, where I was raised on authentic Italian cooking and lots of pizza. I've tried *everything* in this area, and Denville Pizza remains the absolute best. ~
