I met a friend of mine for lunch at Hunan Taste in Denville New Jersey. Hunan Taste is an elegant Chinese restaurant with a full bar and an extensive menu. The lunch menu offers four options depending on your entree choice. Price points are $14.95, $15.95, $16.95 or $18.95. Since the closing of Hunan Chinese Room in Morris Plains, we have tried Hunan Taste multiple times, and I can’t say I’m ever impressed. This time was especially unique, as I called to find out if they have gluten free soy sauce, and/or can do dishes gluten-free. I was told “yes, almost all of our dishes are gluten free.” \n\nWe ordered chicken fried rice, beef with scallions, general Tso chicken, and Peking duck. \n\nThe fried rice came WITHOUT any soy sauce and was bland....
