My husband and I enjoyed a great meal from Hometown Cafe and Grill yesterday! We shared three items: an avocado egg cheddar burrito; a taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich; and a croissant waffle. The food was delicious, their iced coffee was amazing and everything was packaged with care. The Cafe’s owners are also very sweet- they treated us like regulars even though it was our first visit there. We will definitely be back!

Place is a little off the beaten path (near the high school). I would call it more of a deli with tables than a cafe. My wheat bagel with egg, bacon and cheese was ok. Bagel was fresh. Bacon very under cooked and only one fried egg (order two eggs). We also had chocolate chip pancakes, they were good. Unfotunately, they did not arrive until 10 minutes after my breakfast sandwich. Coffee and tea were fine. Overall, a bit of a “hot mess”, maybe just a bad day for them. Can’t really recommend making a special trip to visit, but if you are in the neighborhood it’s adequate.

Hidden gem! Don’t tell your friends lol In all seriousness the food was 10/10 This mom & pop shop takes care of their customer and quality of their food. The best bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, I had in years!! Also their raspberry refresher was delicious perfect balance of sweet and healthy. Lastly, their cruffles were tasty!
I’m so happy to have found a restaurant close to my house where I can enjoy a variety of brunch options!~ Bagels stay soft even after a day...I never get tired of eating them often!~♡

I have lived in the area for a few years now, and seen the change of owners. I have not tried the whole menu as of yet..but I love breakfast here! The Croffle...is stupendous! Sweet, slight crunch but soft. Could be a dessert but I added sausage and eggs to it. Many flavors to choose from. Coffee is good too. The owner is very sweet and eager to please. Next on my list is the dumplings and teriyaki and the Boba s. A must try!

First time coming! Loved the food and drink!!! I had a croissant- waffle and a coconut bubble tea with some pineapple syrup!!! The croissant-waffle was so delicious. Everything taste homemade. Loved the customer service! Definitely coming back! I forgot to take a picture of the drink. Butttt that’s how good it was !!!

I didn’t go down the shore, but I went to West Shore Avenue and felt right at home at Hometown Cafe & Grill.
Owners Steve and Tammy greeted me as I entered their restaurant and served plentiful breakfast plates.
The croffle is one of the tastiest breakfast finger foods I ever tried. This South Korean delicacy is a waffle prepared with croissant dough.
Several toppings are available, but you won’t go wrong with whichever you choose! I especially admired the artistic appearance of the lotus caramel croffle because of the biscoff cookie precisely centered on the appetizer .
The everything bagel was freshly served out of the oven. The dough was warm on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside with the perfect amount of cream cheese spread.
If you are looking for the mother of all sandwiches, the Huskinator is a must try! It is packed with bacon, sausage, taylor ham, fried egg, cheese and a hash brown! I had “no problemo” terminating this sandwich the same way the T-800 terminated the T-1000!
You’ll feel like you are virtually in Cali when you taste the California omelette. It’s filled primarily with several avocado chunks and I never thought I’d enjoy this bright green fruit combined with fried eggs!
All in all, it was a pleasurable experience dining in their cafè and the owners provide efficient, friendly service. “I’ll be back” to explore their lunch options.
