I order a tomato & eggplant pizza for pick up( description says in the menu white pizza with eggplant and tomato)When i came home pizza had sauce i called them and asked i wanted it white but the guy in the phone was very rude . He told me i cant read well! seriously ?and than after he finished fighting owner offered me a new pizza , when i had another pizza i found hair and pieces of plastic inside they did it on purpose(Edit:u have a item in your menu called eggplant &tomato pizza , right under in the description says “white pizza with tomato and eggplant”I already explained u on the phone but instead of doing it right u decided to insult me , now u are treating me? Huh i wish i took a pic before i throw in the garbage

For the record...This review would have never happened, if it wasn't for the brutally rude treatment I received, over the phone, by the cook or owner. I am assuming that it was the owner, as no one in the right mind would employ such a person to work for or represent their local brand or food business.Wow... My family and I have been long time customers of Nino's. And we've always enjoyed the food for our family events and for weekly dinner deliveries. We usually order 1 - 3 times a month. This week we ordered 2 times. I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana dinner, both times. The last orders I had delivered were reasonable portions (1/2 tin tray high, cheese stuck to the lid a bit), with the Spaghetti in a separate side tin dish and the Eggplant in another. When I opened up my order, this evening, I was very disappointed to find the Eggplant's tin container 1/3 full, including the cheese on top. It had plenty of cheese, but very little Eggplant in comparison to many past orders. So, I called in to express my honest disappointment to the female hostess - phone order taker, who immediately switched me over to the cook/owner, who without even saying hello or even giving me an explanation why this could be, told me "if you don't like it go somewhere else". I said "that's how you talk to your customers?!" And he answered "yes". "Go someplace else". Surprised and furious at such unbecoming behavior of a business owner to a customer, I said "$%#^@&* "I will." Apparently, you should not expect any professional customer service from Nino's Pizza in Dumont, NJ. How do people like this stay in business?I realize now why I ordered from Nino's Pizza tonight and not from Bergenfield Pizza (Our preferred Pizza restaurant). Nino's delivers (For a fee) and Bergenfield Pizza does not. But, come right down to it, the food is so much better at Bergenfield Pizza. And the portions are mind-blowing at Bergenfield Pizza. They charge $14.50 for a 27" long Chicken Parmigiana sandwich, along with an array of less expensive, sandwiches, food dishes, etc. Nothing like Nino's overpriced Eggplant dinner @$14.00 for a small portion.

A tasty mom & pop local pizza joint! Very cheesy yet a bit greasy. Medium crust thickness. Highly recommend for a north Jersey pizza! Enjoyed it!

This place is no frills, so much so that I’ve driving by it for years, not realizing it’s even there.
Highly recommend you try it, even if you already have a favorite local place.
