“I love having a Dominican bakery so close. Everything we’ve had there has been FABULOUS!!! Honestly, some of the best coconut macaroons I have ever had and that includes ones I’ve had in DR. I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly. Next time I need to try the pastelitos (empanadas).”

“Zupko’s Tavern is a great local spot with a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The food is always tasty—especially their wings and burgers—and the portions are generous. The drinks are well-priced, and the bartenders know how to make you feel right at home. It’s the perfect place to catch a game, grab a meal with friends, or just relax after a long day. Definitely one of my go-to taverns in the area! 🍻”

“It’s good local. No DJ but a jukebox that cheap. No bar food but you can bring outside food. Liz the bartender is GREAT. Good spot to pregame or be lowkey for the night. EVERYBODY is friendly”

“A hidden gem tucked away right by the Dunellen train station. I came by and ordered a plate of guisado de carne. The food tasted just like a homemade meal and the service was top notch. The hostess even put on the champions league game for me on the TV. Can’t recommend this place enough”

“I used to come here with my little girl. She’d consistently get a vanilla cone with cherry dip. That was her favorite. She’d always let me have a bite (in exchange for a bite of whatever I had, of course).

“So my family ordered sundaes. We didn't realize how generous the portions were. The quality of the ingredients was very good. We took home what we couldn't finish. The young lady that took care of us was very quick and efficient. She definitely needs a raise.”

Kid-friendliness: Lids menu and kids chairs, they r very friendly with children

Wheelchair accessibility: There is one step at the entrance bit once inside they will make room for a wheelchair if what they have is not enough”

“Just finishing up dinner. the waiter is very attentive however the place is cold; we and another couple complained and he said he would turn the thermostat up. we kept our coat on during the entire dinner (lot comfortable to eat and couldn’t wait to finish) otherwise food and cost is average.”

“I always had Dunellen Bagel when I lived there and it’s the best bagel I’ve ever had. I moved and bagels aren’t the same here so everytime I visit Jersey I have to go to Dunellen Bagel and I have my husband addicted too. He’s never tasted a bagel like this and he was amazed. So we bring bagels back home in our carry-on and freeze them at home. I would 100% definitely recommend this place!”

“We ordered here from Door Dash and this was BY FAR the best Mexican we have had since we've lived within 10 miles from here. 👏🏼 Everything we had; mixed fajitas (steak and chicken), flautas, tamales, enchiladas, Oreo moose cake, and the Tres Leches cake... was outstanding, even through delivery! 100% recommend! Not to mention, they actually got out entire order correct, which is rare these days! Thank you!”
