I took myself on a mini date here, to check out new vibes and work on some personal projects. The parking situation was confusing since it's in downtown Dunellen, but I felt immediately calmed as soon as I walked in. Spacious, clean, and homey. Some nice art on the walls. I stopped at Daluca’s Cafe after seeing it featured on an Instagram post. I’ve been meaning to visit, and today finally lined up. Since it was a weekday, I learned that their full food menu is only offered during weekend brunch. Today’s selection was limited to bakery items and drinks.

My wife and I were catching a train back to Manhattan and had a little time to kill so we popped into this cafe for coffee and a bite. We couldn’t have been more happy with the service plus the empanadas were fantastic. The dough was spot on and the fillings were seasoned perfectly. Hope we get to come back again…
