Jackie's Sweets | Coffee Shop & Dominican Cakes

First time I got cupcakes they were moist and good! Now every time after that the sweets seem to be stale-ish with a more dense— less cake like texture 😕. Feels like I’m chasing a ghost! However, the empanadas are pretty good to say the least.

Just another great local coffee shop. Staff was polite. (He had a Yankee hat on so he can't be bad) Ordered my usual cold brew, it was smooth and flavorful. Before I walked away, I noticed some fresh cinnabons and couldn't resist. It was light and flaky. Just the right amount of frosting and cinnamon. They have a few table top seats as well as a comfortable couch and then a few chairs to just sit and relax and do your thing.

Best lattes and service ever! New go to!!

Tried their beso de angel and passion fruit tree leches, both were excellent!! Staff were helpful and made an excellent suggestion on the tres leches.

Thank goodness for this bakery. My brother-in-law is Dominican and really loves the cake from his home country. Jackie's sweets opened up and it was the first time he could get authentic Dominican pineapple and guava cake fresh and ready whenever he would like. They are very friendly and the restaurant is very clean which is important too many. This is where you should go for more unusual but absolutely delicious coffee and bakery goods.

After ordering from Jackie’s sweets multiple times, I can confidently say she never fails to impress. Every cake is soft and moist, the frosting is perfectly balanced, and her decorating talent is on a whole different level. She listens carefully to your vision and brings it to life flawlessly. For cakes that are as delicious as they are beautiful, Jackie is the best choice

I ordered a flan cake (flan bizcocho) from Jackie Sweets and WOW absolutely amazing. The flavor was perfect, the texture was spot-on, and you could taste that it was made with real care. It legit disappeared in my house in minutes.

If you need a dessert that actually hits and impresses everyone, Jackie Sweets is the place. I’m definitely ordering again.

I was in town over the weekend for a wedding and randomly met my cousin here for coffee. Great cold brew with a nice balance of bold flavor while not being overpowering.

The standout was the guy behind the counter. Very friendly dude who noticed my cousin's camera and chatted us up about some of his personal video work. Going forward this will be my go-to coffee spot when visiting family in Pway

I love having a Dominican bakery so close. Everything we’ve had there has been FABULOUS!!! Honestly, some of the best coconut macaroons I have ever had and that includes ones I’ve had in DR. I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly. Next time I need to try the pastelitos (empanadas).

The BEST cafe in Dunellen! Such kind people working here, food and drinks are amazing, it is so clean and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

I got a cupcake for $3 and it was disgusting it was a chocolate cupcake and it was so horribly dry and gross the frosting was straight sugar and previously I’ve gotten cookies which were dry and disgusting and overly sweet and overpriced for the horrible quality
