I used to like coming here but my last experience wasn’t pleasant. The food portions are small which is ok but when I asked for cream/milk to put in my morning drink, it was sour. The server never came back to ask if everything was ok. I ate my food with no drink. When my plate was collected, I informed and showed the server the sour cream/milk. She replied it was brand new and did nothing to make it right so I deducted both drinks from her tip. This was no excuse and clearly see as it curdled in the cups. If she had tried to make it right, I wouldn’t have minded but didn’t like her tone so won’t be back.

I really wanted to like this place since we had been meaning to try it for a while. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will be back. Food was pretty mediocre and the service while extremely friendly was overwhelming and almost too familiar. I did like the pork schnitzel and baked apples though! Kind of pricy too considering ambiance, portions and food quality. It’s cool they have been around so long but I fear there’s just too much yummier competition around for us to return.

They came outside and asked us to park across the street because we parked in 3 spots with a small trailer attached to the car. Mind you, it was a cold winter day and we had 2 kids under 3 years old. Also, we were 1 of 2 cars parked in a parking lot with 30 other open spots. We left and refuse to support this business.

We are not from area, passing thru and wanted to stop for a quick bitr. Sorry but the food was just not great. Not sure what they use on the grill but left a bad taste to us. Service was nice but we would not stop again.

We come here often as we live five minutes away with our son for breakfast. We always bring him little snacks to entertain him while waiting for our food and this morning we were told that the owner would be upset if she saw the few blueberries he was eating as we were waiting to order. I understand not allowing outside food for adults etc but my son is 18 months old. The waitress proceeded to tell me that it would be a liability if something happened with our blueberries. I think the owner should be more concerned about her liability with the high chair she uses that is broken and doesn’t even have a bar to protect the children from sliding through, which we have never made a comment about. So unfortunately even though we love their food we will not be returning because to not allow a toddler to have a few snacks is absurd.

This is a great country breakfast and brunch place. It is no frills, but the food is very much like your home. Fresh and good. It is a cash only place.
