We decided to try this restaurant after seeing the positive reviews. The food was good, but the overall experience was lacking. The restaurant appears outdated, service was slow and it was extremely noisy. It was not just the party by the bar. The dining room was loud. To top it off, a man sitting at the table behind us took off his shoes and had his bare feet out and on the floor. To say the least that made it rather unappetizing. We will not be going back.
The piano player made it impossible to have a conversation at our table. The service was wonderful - our waitress was warm and welcoming. The food was good but overpriced. The ambiance felt very old and dated. I do not think we will be going back.
I have not been to Harvest Moon in many years so was very happy to see it hadn't changed and is still quite delicious. The service was great and the meatloaf special was perfection. I will definitely be back!
For 3 guests, all of our cocktails, appetizers, entrees and deserts where absolutely fantastic. We couldn't stop talking about how good everything was. The service was also excellent. What a beautiful dining experience!!! Such attention to detail is rare but so appreciated and enjoyed! Everything was so delicious!!! We will definitely return!
This is definitely a 5 STAR restaurant with a great menu and specials and their preparation is fantastic.
A great place reminiscent of the older Ryland Inn in a lot of ways. The food selection is diverse and the quality has always been excellent -specials showcasing local ingredients are often available. Wine selections are also well suited to the fare. The bar has plentiful seating and is well-stocked. Service is always very friendly and attentive. Nice place for a private party or a romantic evening out sans the kids. Two dining areas available. Piano playing on certain evenings.

Another great dining experience at Harvest Moon. The corn calm chowder was delicious as was the grilled octopus. Then came the peach cobbler for dessert; wow was it terrific. Can't wait to go again.
The tables are a nice distance from each other and it wasn't noisy which is welcomed compared to larger restaurants. The food and presentation were outstanding and our waitress was very attentive. When we first arrived big band music was playing and the volume could have been a little lower. We really appreciated the live piano playing. A definite do-over.
The Harvest Moon Inn is such a hidden gem. They went above and beyond for my grandparents' anniversary dinner, complete with celebratory messaging written on the dessert plates and the pianist playing their wedding song for them. The food was delicious, the setting felt historic and elegant, and the servers were so patient, helpful, and kind. Thank you a million times over for making this meal such a special memory for our family.

Fantastic evening at Harvedt Moon Inn. The beef tenderloin sandwich never disappoints. The service was impeccable as well. Looking forward to coming again.

My sister and I celebrated our birthdays with a dinner at Harvest Moon Inn. It was a lpvely evening, with soft ambiance, excellent food and a treat to have piano music while we dined. Service was also excellent

Always a great choice. We like to sit in the Tavern Room and listen to Charlie on the piano. The perfect setting for dinner.
Harvest Moon is our all-time favorite place to eat out. Food/Service/Atmosphere is over the top. From the bartender to the servers...all excellent!! Used to be our place to go on special occasions...now it's our go-to every time we eat out!
I have dined here many times and always been pleased. Excellent service and ambience and always enjoyed the piano playing in the tavern area on weekends.
