Terrible customer service. I walked in to an Indian fella working, didn’t bother greeting me, stood waiting on line for 10 minutes while he ignored me. Three people came in, they were confused and used the computer device to order. The worker finally tells me to use the computer instead and that it takes cash. Thanks for wasting my time that I will never get back.

When I first started going to Duck Donuts towards the beginning of the year, it was great! The workers were very upbeat and welcoming. My husband loved the iced coffee and couldn’t stop talking about it. My 7yr old daughter and I got a couple fresh hot donuts that we heard a lot about. They tasted amazing and I have been back many times since because of this. My family and I came in today after a few months of missing out on these treats and things seemed different. It wasn’t the same vibe or workers. We stopped in bc I received my regular text notifications from duck donuts; this time referencing national ice cream sandwich day. The worker whom waited on us said we could only get vanilla donuts and no chocolate for the ice cream sandwich. My daughter and I agreed to this assuming they were possibly out. However, when asked about the donuts, chocolate was available. I did see some pre-made vanilla donuts sitting on the side of the fryer. We got the Oreo ice cream sandwich on vanilla donuts and were deeply disappointed with it. Regular vanilla donut drowned out the little bit of Oreos crumbs. My daughter talked about how unhappy she was with her ice cream sandwich all the way home. According to franchise, duck donuts prides themselves in serving hot fresh to order donuts to its customers. Why were we given pre-made donuts suddenly and told vanilla was all that was available if that clearly wasn’t true? My guess is the person serving us was being lazy and didn’t want to make the chocolate donuts and instead offered up the vanilla they had sitting around. Duck Donuts in East Brunswick just lost customers! I will try a different location going forward.

The donuts were super yummy delicious. An employee Maten, greeted me and helped when I got indecisive bc of course I wanted all of them. I left w half dozen, s’mores blueberry streusel the beach and the coconut one they were fresh and warmm. I enjoyed the frappe not too sweet just perfect. I will be back again, Thank youuu

If u want to have change of pace and are tired of standard DD donuts then check this place out. Same if u want to get something different for ur colleagues/workers then this is the place .
Just be ready to shell extra dough. A dozen will cost around $25, they are made fresh and will be a trigger to which donuts are best.
Liked it and will go again when workers are bored of DD. 4 stars because of pricing.

They sold me an ice cream sundae knowing they had no utensils to eat it with. That is wild. They told me to go to a restaurant a block away to get some. That’s unhinged. Everyone around me was visibly disturbed. The reason I came was to sit and enjoy a special treat with my kid on donut day, instead we’re supposed to walk a block just for a spoon and soupy ice cream. I suggested he warn the other long line of patrons that there’s no way to eat the ice cream if you order it and got shrugged at with a sorry, doing nothing, allowing it to happen to others. You’re next to a grocery store, do like we did in food retail and buy some ffs you don’t burden the customer and another restaurant.
They served me the sundae, 5 minutes later realized they forgot my milkshake, 10 minutes after getting the sundae we got the shake. 0 offers to make it right, this is messy. I see why it’s being poorly rated, none of those workers wanted to be there and have 0 Fs to give, if even paid enough to. It’s a shame because they’re good donuts but you should avoid this location and its poor business practices.

Visit Sunday 4/21/24. The East Brunswick location needs a refreshment training course. One of the worse experiences ever. The Middletown location is so much better. Arrived at approx 1:40pm with 3 employees who did not want to be there at all. They mentioned several times they should lock the door and call it a day. CASHIER was A. Daddio. They complained about having customers. They had a line of waiting customers, order not ready in the correct order, orders were sloppy and boxes needed to be carried with napkins so your hands didn't get dirty. They were using wrong size boxes that donuts were flying around the box. Luckly, the next crew of employees came in at about 215 and saved the day. if I didn't pay already I would have left. I'm definitely not going back to this location and will stick with Middletown NJ. Very disappointed, as customers left we all said to eachother the 1st and last time. Sad that there was no supervision for these employees. I don't think this location will have much success if they don't correct the customer service issue or train the employees properly.
