Frank's Pizza and Italian Restaurant

I've had the best pizza and the food was cooked well. on many orders take out and dine in one of the best places when shopping at mid state mall.

Moved back to East Brunswick and had to go to Frank's. The pizza is still the best! Friendly guys too! Love their crust, pizza is always fresh and they have so much variety. Used to cheat on them with Mancini's because I loved their buffalo calamari but now they have that too!

I have tried many Puzza restaurants from North Brunswick to East brunswick. My latest gem is Frank's Pizza! A gem recently discovered for a quick bite. Their flavors are of the chain. Talk about juicy pizza! Authentic sauces. Very reasonable price. Much better prices for good food service, hospitality. Neighborhood and family friendly. This is my pizza joint for good Italiano pizza! Chao Bello 😘

Great pizza ! The guys are awesome and friendly. I ordered a medium pie for pick up. When I got there he handed me a large pie and said he made a mistake and charged me for a
medium ! Frank's is the place to go for a great slice and other Italian cuisine.

My absolute favorite place to oder in person, my mood is instantly filled with joyness and the food is TOP TIER. The guys look and sound like they love working and do their best to make the customers feel happy and special! Everyone needs to know about franks in east brunswick!!!

I've been getting pizza here for over a decade and it's because the place never disappoints.
The food is fantastic and the place is a delight to eat at when Football is on, even if you have no idea what's happening! The range of options for dietary needs is through the roof including a very good Cauliflower Crust pizza.

I love Franks pizzeria and have gone there for 5years. The food has always been delicious and the owner has always been so kind and respectful.

Sometime last week I had gone to get a grandma slice, and took it to go. As I got into the car and drove off, I opened and began eating. I was anticipating that nice hot cheesy goodness of the first bite and to my surprise it was cold, even though it was placed in the oven. The bottom was warm, but the cheese and sauce were cold.

I called the restaurant and the gentleman that answered the phone had remembered me because only a couple minutes had passed. I let him know that the slice was cold and he told me he was sorry and the next time I come in my next grandma slice would be on him. I was not expecting that, I just wanted to give a heads up, so another customer does not experience the same thing. I said to him, oh wow, thank you I appreciate that

This brings us to today. Around 2PM I was driving to an appointment and I have not had the chance to eat anything all day. I was thinking, “ where can I go that I can get something in 5 to 10minutes that is already on my route, and I thought, ‘Oh! I can grab a slice from Franks”.

Upon driving there part of me was debating whether to mention the free slice because I was not looking for a hand out, I would be good paying for it. I figured if I mention it and he did not remember, I would say no problem, and I will still buy the slice.

(I was hungry and they make great food.)

I walk in to the restaurant, and I see the gentleman that had promised me the slice, last week. I walked up with a smile, a bit timid at first, and I said hey, do you remember me? He looked at me and said uhh yeah kind of, and I said you had spoken to me on the phone last week after I had gotten a slice and I told you the slice was cold and you said the next time I come in, I wouldn’t have to pay. He said “huh?, who me?” And I repeated it and retreated a bit and said yeah, you said because my slice was cold, the next time I come in, it was on you.

Next thing I know, He rolled his eyes, turned his head away from me to the right and said, “whatever, what do you want, this?” With out waiting for an answer from me, he took the slice and put it in the oven begrudgingly.

In that moment I felt so embarrassed, because there were customers in the restaurant. I felt like I had done something wrong, and the moment he put the slice in, I backed up and I said “uh uh, no I don’t even want it anymore. I said that was so rude and uncalled for.” And he didn’t even look my way. He shrugged his shoulders as he took the pizza slice out, and put it back on the platter.

It would have been cool if he would have said, I am sorry ma’am I do not remember having that encounter with you. I would have said no problem at all, would have still asked for the slice and simply had paid for it.

However, his attitude spoke volumes and it made me feel bad for ever mentioning it or asking.

I will be disappointed not to go back because like I said I enjoy the food and the owner is great. However, that made me feel so small, disrespected and I did not deserve to be treated that way.

The only reason why I gave it two stars instead of one is because of how great the owner and other workers have been in the past.

Deep Dish Pizza is amazing and the closest you’ll get to Chicago and it has that Crunchy Taste and Pizza is a beautiful in the making

Meant to write this for a while. This is the best pizza place around. They have a very good selection, and you can never go wrong. We have never had a bad slice here.

The people are also fantastic. Always friendly, always chatty.

Food was super good. The portion sizes are huge which will keep us coming back. We got the riceball, Sicilian slice, chicken parm, and wings. All of it was great especially the wings super crispy. The price was really good too. A must try.
