Sunday Brunch Perfection , Chicken n Waffles, Lobster Poached Eggs Bloody Mary mixed with an amazing server. Life is Good at Orchard Park
The food quality was pretty poor. Popovers were dry and dense not freshly made, tasted stale and dry. The Avocado toast was mediocre at best.
I've been meaning to try this restaurant for a while, finally had the chance. Big disappointment!!! Beautiful place inside and out, but that's about it. Hostess put us right by the kitchen, where everyone walks in and out even tho the restaurant was almost empty. On request she did end up moving us to a better table. Server was just meh and weird. After we ordered, we were admiring the place since it was our first time. One of the managers came over and made a comment-observant much?! No introduction, no how are you doing, nothing!!! I said , this is our first time, just checking the place out. He said I noticed and walked away. What an arrogant, cocky comment. In a restaurant like Orchard Park, I was expecting a welcoming, friendly manager. As I said no name mentioned, but it was the muscular bold guy. Food arrived, presentation was nice, but the flavor was not there. For a David Burk restaurant and the price they are charging I expected better selection and much better food. It was such a disappointment. Mediocre service with mid level food and horrible management. No wonder the place was empty on a Saturday evening.
This was our second time dining here but unfortunately it will probably be our last. Our first time we ordered the porterhouse for 2 which was certainly not worth the $ charged. This time we both decided to have the filet mignon. Which was even worse. It lacked taste and wasn't cooked to our specifications. We both ordered medium rare and they were certainly overcooked in addition to being very dry. The plate the steak was served on had a bunch of what they called watercress which looked like a bunch of dead, dry leaves which certainly wasn't very appetizing. The steak was also placed on top of a sauce which seemed to be a very tasteless BBQ sauce. Overall, a very disappointing, overpriced meal which is why, unless they learn how to cook a steak, we won't be returning any time soon. Additionally, it was odd to be able to reserve a table on a Saturday night on a Saturday afternoon, but after our experience, I see why it's easy to get a reservation.
We had a lovely family birthday dinner at Orchard Park. The food was scrumptious, and our server George was delightful, giving excellent recommendations and just making it a fabulous experience. We will be back!
Great food! A little pricey for the kids' menu. One of my kids got regular pancakes that was on the menu for Father's Day, and it was $40-$50. Didn't come with anything else.
Too bougie for us & Joshua, the “manager” came over and pitched the catering hall attached. Ick
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s a big catering hall in east bumf*ck, nj. It is VERY ADA Accessible 👍🏾

I went out with some friends who booked the restaurant, I had some drinks at the bar and they were fine. Dinner was quick but the food was not good , bacon and tuna tartar app, the bacon was very fatty and undercooked. My steak was not well seasoned and outs friends did not like the bronzino. Bad night for this place the waitress was a kid and not really well rounded

There is a certain rhythm to restaurants like this—a kind of well-rehearsed seduction. The grand entrance through a sleek hotel lobby, the gleaming open kitchen, the low hum of money being spent all around you. It’s a performance designed to convince you that you are somewhere important, that the meal ahead will be something to remember. But then the food arrives, and you realize: this is all just very expensive theater.
The popovers, which should be golden and impossibly airy, are cold and lumpy, deflating at first bite like a bad soufflé. The octopus, that benchmark of kitchen confidence, is somehow both soggy and overcooked, a sad tangle resting atop charred broccoli that tastes more of kitchen neglect than culinary intention. The lobster dumplings? Rubbery, underseasoned, wholly forgettable. Even the coffee, which should at least provide a moment of quiet satisfaction, is thick, bitter, and best left untouched.
The wine is excellent. The liquor, even better. If you were to sit at the bar, swirling a well-made cocktail under the glow of carefully designed lighting, you might be fooled into thinking you were in a great restaurant. But a steakhouse that gets steak wrong isn’t a steakhouse—it’s a bar with a very ambitious menu.
David Burke is a chef who understands spectacle better than most, a man who has built an empire on the sheer force of his own creative energy. But here, as in many of his restaurants, the cracks in the foundation are clear. If he spent more time in the kitchen instead of spreading himself thin, perhaps the food would match the ambition. Instead, we have a place that looks the part but doesn’t live up to it.
Come back in a year, and it will likely be called something else. Some restaurants are built to last. Others are built to dazzle—if only for a moment.

Gimmicky and mediocre - at best. We waited far too long for drinks… the first round being the longest wait. How long does a beer and a glass of wine take to pour? The food was mediocre. We sat empty handed most of the time (no drinks in hand, no food in front of us) other than some measly pretzel sticks. The appetizers came out so early… before we even got our first round of drinks. You can tell they had been prepped and sitting for so long. The sauces had formed a film over them. The spinach lining the plates had bled green juices everywhere and become soggy. The “popovers” which are cheese stuffed bread were hard as a rock. My partner barely touched the lobster cavatelli entree. My steak was good though - it was the only enjoyable aspect. Our server was nice, but barely spoke to us. In the end we were slapped with an automatic 20% tip since it was Valentine’s Day weekend, ($65 on a 380$ bill). We paid it, although that tip was far too high for the crappy service. Server maybe said 5 words to us all night so I hope he enjoyed the easy money he made. We’ve dined at steakhouses with finer dining procedures and paid less. I haven’t been so disappointed like this in a while. I will never be back.

Service was virtually non-existent. It took us over 15 minutes to get beer and wine from the bar. The server never checked up on us, and, because it was a holiday, we were forced to give a 20% tip for absolutely horrible service. We saw our waiter less than 5 times the entire evening and went through multiple periods where we had nothing to eat or drink for 15+ minutes. To top it off, management went around to multiple tables by us to check in but never came to our table. And as we sat without food or drink, we got to watch the table behind us get top notch service because they were friends with the hostess, who was chatting it up with them at length.
The lobster dumplings were caked in cinnamon and served in a sauce that was clearly sitting out. It was congealed by the time it got to us. We both took one bite of the dumplings before deciding to not even touch them again. The lobster cavatappi was decent, and the filet mignon was good.
Overall, this place is over priced and not worth the money. If you want to charge what you’re charging, you need to justify it. And the terrible service and mediocre food was not worth what we spent. Most likely, I will never return.

My Wife & I dined at Orchard Park on Friday Evening, she had the Chicken, I had the Filet, both were outstanding. More outstanding was Evan our server. In all our years we've never had a better server ANYWHERE. His knowledge of the food served at Orchard Park and the differences and similarities of Chef David Burke's other restaurants was very informative. Evan offered some suggestions/alternates for some items on the menu that my Wife was unsure about and his suggestions were perfect and just what she was looking for. His tableside presentation of our meal included putting the finishing touches on the Clothesline Bacon right in front of us was a real treat. Evan made sure that our glasses were never empty and and that at no time were we unsatisfied with our dining experience. His Service was A++ and they have a real Gem with him on their roster. We will be requesting to sit in his section on our next visit to Orchard Park.
Our waiter was amazing and kind on Christmas Eve. The restaurant was clean and pretty. I got Twin Lobster Tails with Orzo pasta, A little sour Kevin McAllister mock tale which tasted mid, and good oily pretzels that come at your table when you walk in. I also ordered the angry lobster mac & cheese which was very spicy and too spicy, but the restaurant was amazing, I would go again.
