Sofra Turkish & Mediterranean Cuisine

I visited Sofra for my birthday Dinner with family and friends. The ambience was nice, but unfortunately, that was the only highlight of my visit.

The restaurant was empty when I went, yet the service was slow and lacked attentiveness. The food was okay, not many vegan or vegetarian choice or recommendations by server —neither bad nor memorable—and for the prices, I expected better quality and flavor.

While Sofra has potential, the slow service and average food don’t make it a place I’d rush to recommend. Picture of food on website quite deceptive and misleading. even the salad was very sour too much lemon juice .. then add 18 %tip on my bill .. I don't like that . .I don't know if I would go back or recommend to vegetarian people .. but you never know ...

I’m living Central Jersey. This is my second visit to Sofra. Authentic and cool decor, the food was delicious by. Waiter was awesome with the service. Gave us good recommendations and serve professionally. And the dessert is delicious too. Perfect ending to a great evening. Thank you for everything. Hope to see you all soon!

If I’m in New Jersey this spot is my go to spot for Turkish food! It’s delicious and has amazing options. I recently tried the green appetizer called girit ezme which tasted amazing. I’m definitely coming back. The kabab’s are amazing, but the Lahmajun is my favorite over here!! 🔥🔥🔥

I tried this restaurant first time service was really good. The waiter interested with us really good. I liked the atmosphere and music but the food is not good. Especially meats and Adana terrible . Taste wasn’t like a meat. And I paid 37 dolar tip . I heard that tips goes directly for boss. This is not fair I wanna give it to tip directly waiter because he interested with us very well.

This restaurant is very nice, the food is delicious but the customer service is very slow, we waited more than 30 minutes for them to bring the dessert. Their prices are so high, they should have very high standards in everything, especially in customer service.
