Absolutely one of the best restaurants we've tried in some time. first time having Taiwanese food. very simple with some amazing flavors. we ordered the Crab/Pork soup dumplings as soon as we sat down. simply the best I've had. the Cucumber salad with hot chili oil, fantastic !!! Popcorn Chicken was the first chicken of its kind that didn't need a sauce. the meat was crispy and moist and held its own without a sauce. Taiwanese sausage was served with sliced garlic. simple a delicious !!!! we also had the fried pork soup dumplings which were incredible !!!! Can't wait to go back and try their entrees. Restaurant was packed when we arrived for lunch and stayed that way. Service was impeccable. Next time I'll make sure to make a reservation !!!!

delicious wide selection of Taiwanese food. Taste of Taiwan in New Jersey (ordering menu in full Chinese). I had the popcorn chicken, cucumber salad, snow pea leaves and congee. All were delicious and made me come back a second time. Totally recommend for anyone nearby.

I love the steamed vegetable dumplings here. I am not sure what is inside - I think mustard greens and mushroom pieces, but not certain. Whatever it is, the dumplings are delicious and so is the dipping sauce. There are always a lot of people inside, and even though I always get take out - I've observed the servers here and they do seem very friendly.

Updating my review. I gave A&J another try after a friend of mine said it's actually good. So this time around, it was pretty decent. The side of cabbage with the pork chop rice was still cold. Overall, I think all their hot food could benefit from being served at a hotter temperature. Glad this place is decent as I will be moving to this area later this year and it's definitely nice to have a place to get my Taiwanese food fix.

This place is one of my my favorite restaurant. It’s authentic Taiwanese cuisine with reasonable price. This place is always packed but wait time is quick. The spicy beef noodle soup is as good as the famous restaurants I tried in Taiwan, the beef is very soft and juicy while the favor of the soup is delicious. The fried pork over rice is my husband’s favorite.

Nice restaurant to go to when with family or friends. We enjoyed the soup dumplings. The waitress was very helpful and kind with giving us suggestions without being pushy.

A&J is hands down one of my favorite places to eat in Morris County. They serve delicious Taiwanese food at a reasonable price. A&J is such a hit with people I've introduced it to that they keep wanting to come back. My favorites are the fried pork chop over rice, pork and crab soup dumplings, black fungus salad, and the shredded bean curd with celery. Service is super fast! They do accept credit card but charge a 3% processing fee. Bring cash if you can!

This is my favorite Taiwanese restaurant in the area! Pretty much anything on the menu is good. When you sit down the waiter will give you a paper menu and a pencil to check which items you want, which is pretty traditional.

I wanted to share my recent experience at your restaurant. Upon attempting to pay for my order with a credit card, I was informed of an additional 3% credit card fee. Understanding this, I opted to pay with cash instead. Despite tendering $20 for my $18 order, I was then asked to provide an additional tip.I expressed my dissatisfaction, noting that I didn't appreciate the quality of the food nor the service. Moreover, I had originally planned to pay with my credit card and include a 15% tip, but the imposition of the credit card fee deterred me. Your signage offering an incentive 3.95% discount for cash payments added to the confusion, as it seemed incongruent with the 3% credit card fee.In my view, it's unacceptable for servers to demand additional tips and attempt to deceive customers.I would never forget that server , a guy, asking for extra tip. Paying you cash is deserved to get your 3.95% discount . So 20 is enough, if you feel 20 is not enough for the 18 order next time I will find you and let me know how much you are in need.

Always an enjoyable taste of home! The soup dumpling are a new addition since the last time we were here, and they did not disappoint! I love their beef noodle soups and my husband always gets the braised pork over rice and pig's feet.
