Fabulous authentic Taiwanese food. The restaurant was steadily busy with small groups and families. Noodles made from scratch. Order soup dumplings first. They take a while to be made. Service was very attentive and informative.

Black fungus appetizer and the fried peashoots were fine. And generally the fried chicken and pork were ok too.

Anything else with dough in it was… very grainy? It’s hard for me to describe the texture but it’s not fluffy and generally pretty dense so I did not enjoy those dishes.

I’ve been eating at A&J Bistro for years. The food is excellent! They make the best Fried Rice around! The Spicy Beef Noodle Soup is also incredible! The staff are friendly and Josephine the owner is such an amazing person! She does everything to make your experience great. Also, the new Refresher drinks are delicious!
