I ordered the “caprese” sub, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The mozzarella was fresh, the roasted red peppers were perfection, touch of balsamic glaze, and the chicken cutlet was out of this world. I felt like I was on Bloomfield Ave. in Newark, can’t beat this place. A gem in East Hanover, NJ.

Mama Rao's is the best place to get food in East Hanover in my opinion. The owners are so friendly and the food is just amazing. The bread is so fresh!! Everyone that walks in automatically feels the warmth. The fig that fig this is my favorite sandwich I usually get it with chicken cutlet. I also really enjoy the rice balls. I come to Mama Rao's at least twice a week maybe more if I'm lucky!! I cannot wait to try more on their menu.
