Please note that the stupid AI review summary is no longer accurate; Sunny Kitchen stopped serving sushi a while back. I repeat, they no longer serve sushi! But I always enjoy the food I get here (my go-to's being the general Tso's and the pad Thai, occasionally Buddha's delight), and pricing is fair for portion size in my experience.
Hands down the best Chinese food in the area. However, I’m so upset they got rid of their sushi. It was the BEST sushi I’ve ever had. I can’t find anywhere in the area that comes close. It was so fresh. PLEASE bring it back 🙏🏻
Sunny’s Kitchen came highly recommended, and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious (and just as good as leftovers the next day). The staff was incredibly welcoming, and I loved the extra touches like our dinners being labeled and the cute red reusable bag they gave us. New favorite spot in East Hanover!

Standout dishes include the General Tsao combo platter, chicken lo mein, boneless spare ribs, and sesame chicken. The restaurant is family-owned and known for their excellent food and friendly service. Although they can be busy on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, customers can expect their food to be done right. The portions and flavors are generous, making it a great value for the price.
