“I got the general tsao combo platter, scallion pancakes. Chicken lo mein. And spicy salmon roll. Super nice they offer sushi, it it’s good quality, as well as the other food. Chicken is not chewy or over cooked. All were excellent. Have eaten a few times here already. One of the fast Chinese take out places I’ve eaten at.Will continue to drive out of the way come back!“

“Knives Out! This place has been closed for quite sometime. So when it reopens you want to check it out. What a pleasant surprise! The food, service and atmosphere was on point all night. Each dish was cooked to perfection, coconut shrimp was to die for but the peeking duck took the gold. Prepared table side and fresh as possible. Well done and looking forward to returning next weekend“

“Our quest for a great dine-in Chinese restaurant continues so we decided to try Bill & Harry’s. My wife and I both started with egg rolls. They were ok, but not the big, fat, deep fried version I recall from my childhood in NYC. I also tried the wonton soup. The broth was good, but it only had two skimpy, but tasty, wontons. The soup had scallions, but no pork slivers. For a main course my wife had sesame chicken which she really enjoyed. It was served with steam broccoli. For a main course I had the pork dumplings. They were pretty good, but a bit gummy. I was disappointed that they were a bit cold. Overall the food was ok, but the menu is a bit pricey. The search goes on!“

“Edit: they are back to the good stuff! Maybe they were training a new chef before…
___
Used to be my favorite place to eat in the area, but it’s going downhill. The dan dan sauce is now kind of watery, and there’s not enough. Maybe trying to save money? Just serve good food and raise the price.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
10 Second Hunan Noodle in East Hanover, New Jersey, is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere and exceptional service. The menu is filled with a variety of authentic dishes, but the star of the show is undoubtedly the noodles. Perfectly cooked, with a delightful texture and a rich, flavorful broth that leaves you craving more. The spice level is just right, providing a kick without overwhelming the palate. The ingredients are fresh, and the portions are generous, making it great value for money. Whether you're a noodle enthusiast or just looking for a delicious meal, 10 Second Hunan Noodle is a must-visit. Highly recommended!“

“i am here to specifically point out that their SOUP DUMPLINGS are WONDERFUL! I only have ever had soup dumplings as good as these in flushing, queens, (nyc), where there is a dense asian population. I came in expecting not too great dumplings and left overly satisfied and pleasantly surprised. really good soup dumplings for a place in nj.“

“This Chinese restaurant is a hidden gem. The food was outstanding. The dumplings were delicate and filled with delicious fillings. The Sweet and Sour Pork was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right balance of sweet and sour flavors. The restaurant also pays attention to detail in presentation. The staff was extremely polite and efficient. The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving delicious Chinese food.“

“Came here for lunch, they have a lunch special Monday-Saturday 11am-3pm. I had the general Tso chicken. Overall my food was good. It was spicy, fresh, and flavorful. The restaurant is clean and tidy, although, they should make it look prettier with some Chinese decor. Food was served fast. No complaints or issues. I would recommend this restaurant.“

“Happened to come across this place by surprise and at the last minute. Was looking for something light - a la a moo shu pork. I wasn't sure what to expect - but have to say it was really, really good. It is the first time I remember eating the whole portion. It was a great balance of vegetables, protein and seasoning. The only down side, using egg roll skin as the pancake is a bit of a cop out. A true Mandarin pancake would have earned it 5 stars.“

“Eerie feeling today, new people running it I noticed, young man taking orders and working the register. Another man watching his every move. Nobody in the kitchen working. No beehive of activity and very quiet. Loved this place with happy previous owners. New owners???“

“I’ve been ordering Chinese takeout back to living in Brooklyn for 20+ years. In almost all Chinese restaurant reviews, people always complain about delivery and how many shrimp they got. Just order pick up and don’t go to pricy places if u want to avoid being disappointed. I’ve bought from Madison Wok for 15 years now and never had a late order when ordering pick up here (usually 15 mins). The food tastes exactly as my local restaurant when I was a kid, so I can’t complain. For the price, consider how little you are paying for the amount of work and manpower going into it •• esp since it’s done so fast. Dao nearby has slightly less oil and flavor for a lot more money. I wanted to like it but just poor value since your deliver or pick up order price needs to support the wait staff. No American style Chinese food is healthy for you so stop thinking you’re doing something good by paying someone extra to do less oil, msg, etc. in summary, this is an old school place that gives you the standards for the least amount of money you’ll pay in this zip code. Not something to eat everyday, but when you need your fix for this kind of stuff. I recommend the pork dumplings, fried wings, curry chicken, wonton soup and any fried rice, plus the chow fun and generals chicken. My 3 kids never complain and no one has ever been sick. Sometimes I’m not crazy about the amount of meat but remember that I’m not paying $15 or $20 for a pint here, and the low prices are supporting a skeleton crew.“

“Been going to this place for many years and can't believe I have never reviewed it before. One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. We have tried quite a few but always come back to China City. The food is fresh and tasty, portions are large and orders are ready when they tell you. Family that runs it is wonderful. They were closed during a good portion of Covid and we struggled to find an acceptable replacement. Judging by the lines out their door when they reopened many other people thought the same.“

“I enjoyed my lunch here - the scallion pancakes were really tasty! The fried rice was a little underwhelming, but all in all the meal was tasty. I would recommend as a quick lunch spot or you can order ahead like me! Side note - the guy working the front was very kind :)
Vegetarian options: Plenty veggie options to pick from“

“We often order from Verona Chinese Kitchen, delivery only. Deliveries are prompt. I really like their Sesame Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Chicken with Cashew Nuts. My husband enjoys their Beef with Snowpeas, and Shrimp Toast. We sometimes order their soups, especially the Hot and Sour soup and Wonton soup, but ask for modifications as my husband has certain tolerances. They are very accommodating, everything arrives as ordered. The service is friendly, professional, and our orders are read back for clear communication, which is much appreciated as I am hard of hearing.“

“Went there for lunch and ordered a sesame chicken meal and paid about $10, but boy was it worth it! The food was good and the meal came with an egg roll plus pork fried rice and really filled me up. 10/10 would definitely eat here again.
Kid-friendliness: Has Lego decorations that kids might enjoy.“

“Great place for dim sum. They have a wide variety of classics (like egg tart, chicken feet, fried pork buns, etc) and non-classics (like clams, shrimp, crab, mango sago, etc). Their prices range from $4.50 for a small dim sum to $12 for “chef” dim sum.
The service is fast. We came during brunch hours on a Sunday and even though there was a lot of people, we were instantly seated. And as soon as we got a table, the dim sum carts swung by right away. The servers can be a bit aggressive in insisting you take certain dishes (by placing them on the table before you’ve agreed to them), but as long as you say no they’ll take them away.
The inside is your typical Chinese dim sum restaurants with round tables and many dim sum carts running around.
The bathroom is clean and large with multiple stalls. It looks relatively new.
We parked in the lot outside and had no trouble finding parking.
There doesn’t seem to be good reception for AT&T here so we had some trouble navigating away after eating here.
Prices:
- Small 小点 - $4.50
- Medium 中点 - $5.25
- Large 大点 - $5.75
- Special 特点 - $6.50
- Top 顶点 - $7.25
- Super 超点 - $8.95
- Chef 厨点 - $12
Parking: We parked in the lot outside and had no trouble finding parking.“

“It was a baby shower hosted by the parents of the first time mother. The menu chosen by the father was selecting 90 percent of the delicious dim sum on themenu. We had every dish commonly enjoyed by families.
There were 30 tables with many young children all enjoying the food and the occasion. It was a wonderful celebration for new life, a new baby for expecting parents, grandparents, and family members and friends. The food, service, and the general happiness of the attending members was memorable.“

“Very grateful for this place. So glad I spent the extra couple minutes to compare menus/reviews and landed here rather than the other closer options. The food was fresh, hot, tasty and it was prepared quickly. Friendly service but have some patience and grace as English is not their first language.
My boyfriend and I were exhausted, stressed, and hungry (I.e. desperate) during the tail end of a 5hr drive at Sunday night in the middle of rain/flooding and this place single handedly turned our miserable night around. Will definitely be back whenever we’re in the area again!“

“Be patient and prepare for waiting for order and waiting for dishes (because there is only one server……), then all is good!! Can’t complain everything else, the seafood is so fresh and umami, seasoning is perfect, and lots of variety, and… very cheap (comparing to other seafood restaurants)!!! Will definitely come back and just choose a time with fewer people.“

“This is the first halal Chinese food experience I've ever had. This cash-only establishment has fresh food and competitive prices. The staff isn't very friendly and they're always in some kind of hurry. The restaurant is dated and not very welcoming and there is no dining area. The quality of food and its flavors make up for their other shortcomings. I will return, but with lower expectations.“

“I've been ordering here for years. Their food is amazing. I am picky about Singapore Mei Fun. I had found one takeout place in Mendham that has done really well for years and when I work in that area I order it. On a whim I asked them how theirs was and said I would let her know. It was amazing. Along with the rest of the food. The egg rolls are crispy and not a drop of grease. Outstanding Chinese takeout. Keep up the good work.“

“Best local place for traditional Americanized Chinese food. They usually have the order ready within 20 minutes from your call and are reasonably cheap for the size of the portions. Each dish is flavorful and its a nice treat when you don't feel like cooking. They have a small parking lot in front too for covenience if you pick up!
Parking: Small lot right in front with a few spaces.“

“Ordered online for pick up. It said ready in 10 min which was not the case. No big deal as they were busy. The lady behind the window when we went to pickup was pleasant. The food was really good. “Finally…..very good. When they first opened their fried rice dishes were ok …. But their chicken wings left very little to be desired. They were beige didn’t look appealing at all. Chinese know how to fry chicken except for this one. I went there again after 2 years because I really wanted Chinese nearby to now find their chicken wings are so delicious and looked fried like they are supposed to be. Everything smelled so good in the bag bringing it home. I could not wait to eat it and it was satisfyingly good. Thank you Happy Family! I can now start ordering from you again and I hope to tonight. Keep up the good cooking!“

“Great old school neighborhood Chinese restaurant at low prices. Classic renditions of standards like wonton soup, fried rice, egg foo young, and shrimp with lobster sauce are all spot on. The servers work their tails off, and they’re lovely, but unfortunately they’re juggling dine-in and takeout and the latter is voluminous. The decor is dated, but I prefer they keep it that way and not raise prices!“
