“Tonight me and my fiancé ordered dinner from here. I got wonton soup because i wasn't that hungry and ended up eating the whole container. Hands down the BEST wonton soup I’ve ever had. “I cannot recommend Dao Madison enough – especially for their gluten free options!

Most of their menu can be made gluten free and my gluten-eating fiancée couldn’t tell the difference! The food came out HOT and quickly!

Every detail was considered in our service. Each employee we interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean! Lots of courses, delicious dimsum with coconut shrimp, the beef & broccoli was authentic, and the crispy chicken was excellent. Other dishes like the noodle and vegetarian dishes were ok (although a little bland compared to some of the other dishes). A good mix of authentic and Americanized Chinese dishes available.“

Just order pick up and don’t go to pricy places if u want to avoid being disappointed. I’ve bought from Madison Wok for 15 years now and never had a late order when ordering pick up here (usually 15 mins). The food tastes exactly as my local restaurant when I was a kid, so I can’t complain. For the price, consider how little you are paying for the amount of work and manpower going into it •• esp since it’s done so fast. Dao nearby has slightly less oil and flavor for a lot more money. I wanted to like it but just poor value since your deliver or pick up order price needs to support the wait staff. No American style Chinese food is healthy for you so stop thinking you’re doing something good by paying someone extra to do less oil, msg, etc. in summary, this is an old school place that gives you the standards for the least amount of money you’ll pay in this zip code. Not something to eat everyday, but when you need your fix for this kind of stuff. I recommend the pork dumplings, fried wings, curry chicken, wonton soup and any fried rice, plus the chow fun and generals chicken. My 3 kids never complain and no one has ever been sick. Sometimes I’m not crazy about the amount of meat but remember that I’m not paying $15 or $20 for a pint here, and the low prices are supporting a skeleton crew.“

When I visit my family, we get China Garden because they know how I miss this food. It has only gotten better and better over the years. “Mr. Chu has been my family's go to for Chinese food for years. When they had the kitchen fire and the building was shut down, we thought that would be the end of Mr. Chu. We are so happy they have come back, and we have been there since their opening a couple of times already. The food was always outstanding and still is. The atmosphere is your typical Chinese restaurant attire. With the new paint and fixtures, it makes it appealing. I had the Shimp in Lobster sauce which did not disappoint. It was by far the best I have had in years. Even at some of the top-notch Chinese restaurants, the sauce is usually watery. Mr. Chu's had that perfect consistency you expect in lobster sauce. I thoroughly enjoyed my leftovers the next day. While my family and I do miss their homemade table noodles. When asked, we were told how time consuming they are to make. Once the staff gets to know you, you feel very welcomed. They are very attentive even while the restaurant is packed with patrons. If you want exceptional Chinese food, Mr. Chu's is the place to go.“

The chicken chow mein was delicious with lots of chicken and a wonderful sauce. The pork fried rice also was nicely prepared with excellent flavors. The food is very good. I especially enjoy the crab rangoon and fried dumplings. I had it delivered so I can’t comment on the atmosphere but the food was excellent and I used Uber eats since we live about 15 minutes away. Delivery was quick, food was priced well, cooked well, and tastes great. I did notice like one of the other comments said, there are no utensils in the bag, but it didn’t bother us much because we are home, with our own. I would have been pissed if I was like, somewhere without. Other than that, great!“

We ordered scallion pancakes as a shared appetizer and I had a cup of wonton soup. My entree was chicken Mei fun and my dinner guest had pineapple chicken with brown rice. The portions were ample and all food was prepared and presented well. The scallion pancakes were crispy and not dripping in oil. The wonton soup was tasty and not salty. Overall we had no complaints. “I just love going to Master Wok at Rockaway mall! It's a bit of a drive, about 25 minutes from my home, but let me tell you, the food is so good. My favorites are the Barbecue pork and the Chicken & Broccoli. They're simply delicious! You can get two meats with fried rice or lo mein for just $9.35.
