“I sprained my ankle like a week ago, unable to really cook. I have been coming here for years on and off for probably close to 20 years. I was looking to feed the family and came across their family meal for 8 deal on their website. For the price you spend and for what you get it is amazing, truly. The food quality is easily the best in the area. ALL of the chinese restaurants are not great in the Haskell/Wanaque/Ringwood/Pompton Lakes area except for this one. Honestly the family meal for 8 could probably feed easily more hungry people. The food itself was well made, the egg rolls are good. Properly fried, no issues. The food came in custom bags that has the restaurant logo. I really hope they don't change this offer anytime soon as I will probably order every few weeks going forward for awhile. Also thing I want to note a lady called us (was etremely nice) asked us about the type of soup we wanted which by the way is a full size soup on the family meal for 8 and I'm sure they are full size on the others as well. I greatly appreciate the effort they put into the food and my family was happy to eat it. Will order again soon, thanks!“

“We have been ordering take out from China 23 since they opened and have always been satisfied with the quality of the food. My last order I mistakenly ordered "volcano" wonton instead of the regular. I didn't realize my goof until I got home and read the receipt. I called back and they told me they make me the wonton right away if I would come back to pick it up. When I returned, I was told no charge for the regular wonton. “Delicious flavorful but not greasy and light. Very prompt service. Had a construction plaster smell but the neighboring unit just had new tenants so presumably their construction was infiltrating the air system. Otherwise nice open airy place. All about the food. DELICIOUS!“

“Great old school neighborhood Chinese restaurant at low prices. Classic renditions of standards like wonton soup, fried rice, egg foo young, and shrimp with lobster sauce are all spot on. The servers work their tails off, and they’re lovely, but unfortunately they’re juggling dine-in and takeout and the latter is voluminous. The decor is dated, but I prefer they keep it that way and not raise prices!“

“Been going to China City for 20+ years and surprised I haven't reviewed it on Google. By far my favorite place in Parsippany for Chinese Food. Recently did an early mother's day celebration and food as always it was delicious, fresh, and made for a perfect meal. Ordered a bunch of food including soup, steamed dumplings, egg rolls, General Tso's Chicken, Sesame chicken, hot and spicy chicken, pork fried rice, and beef lomein. Despite the large order, food was ready as promised and was 100% correct with no screw ups. Family was happy and it made a great meal. Definitely my 1st choice when it comes to Chinese Food in the Parsippany area.“

“Absolutely AMAZING chinese food. I travel up to the Parsippany area frequently and need to order takeout. I’ve tried many restaurants and had mixed results. I found Panda Wok last week and I can’t say enough about this restaurant. I wouldn’t plan on going there for dinner but their Takeout is great. I picked up my dinner last week and not only was it delicious but it was 3 times what I needed for dinner. This week I tried them for delivery. Having first tried several of the delivery services I found they marked up the prices by over 10% and could not seem to find the MAJOR NATIONAL HOTELi was staying at. So I called the restaurant directly and they said they deliver directly. I ordered, the food was delivered TO MY ROOM, HOT AND DELICIOUS. I’ll never order out from another Chinese Restaurant in this area again. I suggest you try them also.“

“Golden jade has some of the best food in the area. They give you large portions and their prices are competitive. We've ordered food from them several times never been disappointed I don't understand the haters giving them low ratings I give them five plus stars.“

“Went there for lunch and ordered a sesame chicken meal and paid about $10, but boy was it worth it! The food was good and the meal came with an egg roll plus pork fried rice and really filled me up. 10/10 would definitely eat here again.

“The food at this Chinese restaurant is super good. I recently moved to Fairfield and needed to find a good spot for Chinese takeout out. So, I tried joy wok. I ordered sesame chicken combo and the Mongolian beef. They were both super good. I don’t normally like my sesame chicken a little spicy and they made it just right for me.
The customer service is also great. I had accidentally ordered white rice with the Mongolian beef and when I picked up my order they switched it to fried rice right away with no extra charge. Everyone there is super nice. Definitely recommend if you are in the area in search of a good Chinese spot.“

“I have been coming here to many years and it is one of the best Chinese take out restaurants in the area. Good sized portions and the food is always fresh and flavorful. I called for delivery 1/2hr before closing. They were very kind on the phone and at delivery, even though it was at closing. The food arrived hot and VERY DELICIOUS!! The only downfalls were that the General Tso's were a bit soggy but that was from the steam in the container. I understand that. The other downfall was that I wish I ordered more!! The General Tso's, egg rolls, pork fried rice ( it had plenty of veggies for fried rice) and cheese wonton were all very tasty. THANK YOU for the great food and service!! It is Americanized Chinese food, and I have been to China. Now for Amer. Chinese food, the scallion pancakes were bad, doughy not crunchy at all, a 1 star. The basil beef was pretty decent, with enough basil and flavors, although my medium spice was more mild, but that is very subjective at each restaurant. The important thing is that the base dish was flavorful, a 3.5 to 4 star. HnS soup was a 3 star. Pretty std for American Chinese HnS soup. Important question: Would I go back? If it was more local, yes, I would probably have this as my std place. But with a 20-minute drive, I can go elsewhere.“

“Man, this was our first time ordering from here. We live in a nearby town and the Chinese food is just really not great here, however I’m happy that we found Panda world in Butler. The food is very good. I especially enjoy the crab rangoon and fried dumplings. I had it delivered so I can’t comment on the atmosphere but the food was excellent and I used Uber eats since we live about 15 minutes away. Delivery was quick, food was priced well, cooked well, and tastes great. I did notice like one of the other comments said, there are no utensils in the bag, but it didn’t bother us much because we are home, with our own.
