As many regulars of this wonderful Pompton Lakes spot know, on April 17th they had a serious fire causing the closing the business indefinitely. An incredible loss to Pompton Lakes and the many customers who called Golden Garden their regular place. I did for well over 10 years. First time here and food was delicious, good size and in time. So glad we ventured outside of our normal locales — yum!
Always great food and service
Golden Garden offers tasty Chinese food with quick service and generous portions. The schezwan chicken, brown rice, and vegetables combo is a popular choice, as well as their highly recommended egg rolls and orange beef. Customers appreciate the reasonable prices and convenient parking. Some even compare the food to what you'd find in New York City. Overall, Golden Garden is a great spot for Chinese takeout.
