We had a wonderful Dinner at Novelli Restaurant in Wayne NJ yesterday celebrating my amazing Wife Karen's birthday. Food,service and ambiance was outstanding !
This place and the staff are incredible. We called to see if they could get us in for a day before Easter lunch, and the place opened at 2:30 for us. We were the only ones there. It was the best, thank you for doing that for my family. You have customers for life now.
Consistently delicious food, and a wonderful staff. I always love going to Novelli!!!

Novelli offers a great atmosphere and fantastic seafood dishes. The scallops are a must-try, perfectly cooked. The restaurant is perfect for a date night or special occasion, with a variety of delicious options like calamari and short rib orecchiette. The food and service are exceptional, with the waiter being very friendly and professional. The specials, such as the fresh Bronzino fish, fresh trout fish, and crab cake special, are highly recommended. The pork chop is impressively thick, yet perfectly cooked on the inside and delightfully crispy on the outside, with a standout balsamic glaze paired with jalapeños.
The atmosphere is pleasant, with a clean and welcoming environment. Novelli is an upscale Italian gem, where guests feel welcomed and never rushed. The complimentary bread, olives, and parmesan cheese set the perfect start to the evening, paired with a glass of their delicious wine. The fig and brie appetizer is absolutely outstanding, and both the branzino and the Shrimp Novelli are prepared to perfection—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service is friendly, attentive, and makes guests feel completely comfortable throughout the night. Novelli is not just a dinner—it's an experience, perfect for a special occasion or any time you want to enjoy an exceptional meal.
