I have to say, Novellis's is a top-notch restaurant for authentic Italian food, along with several other excellent favorites. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the branzino, while the braised short ribs were incredibly tender and flavorful, and the filet mignon was cooked to perfection. The quality, variety, and overall dining experience were extraordinary. Hats off to our waiter as well—the service was excellent from start to finish.
Over the years, both under the previous ownership and then after the change, Novelli has remained an excellent restaurant. The new renovation, which opens the bar area to the entire restaurant has made the restaurant much louder, since groups gather at the bar and shout. We left before coffee and dessert due to the noise level which, for a week-day night at 5:30, was excruciating. We were here celebrating our wedding anniversary and had reservations for 7:00 PM. We decided to arrive a little early and sat at the bar while we waited. Anthony, who was tending bar, immediately made us feel right at home.
