“I stopped in Ramsey Chinese Food for dinner which is in a strip mall near City Hall where I had to visit that night. We were having a cold front and I was really in the mood for some soup. I saw that they had Cantonese Wonton soups on the menu and I thought this would be great. So I ordered the House Special Cantonese Soup, which had a nice portion of Roast Pork, Shrimp and Chicken in it with Lo Mein noodles in a rich chicken broth. \n\nIt was not the richer chicken broth I was used to in these soups but the owner’s daughter explained to me that she was catering to the locals who like a clearer stock. It was still delicious. They put lots of meats and I had the opinion for vegetables which I declined. I really enjoyed it and it cleared me up and I felt better.\n\nI think the egg rolls were made in house and were perfectly fried and filled with chopped roast pork and cabbage. They were wonderful. I ate at the restaurant and they have a nice tv where I could watch the local news. It was a nice dinner and I liked their very friendly owners. \n\nYou will have a nice meal here.“

“I have not dined in yet, because I like to eat at home, so I can say these dumplings and buns travel very well. I love the pork and scallion dumplings, and the noodle dishes are so refreshing. I can't help but order tanghulu every time as well for a sweet refreshing crunchy dessert, and every drink I've had has been so good! Love the fruity teas, herbals teas, and creamy drinks. “This place is a gem! My husband has been coming here since he’s been a kid. We were in the area and decided to stop in and eat. They were very pleasant and friendly on the phone when I called to place the order. The owner immediately recognized my husband once we arrived and was very welcoming. “Fairlawn's Hunan Wok is a fantastic restaurant. I've been going there for approximately 15 years, and I still really like the meal. Although their cuisine isn't as greasy as that of some Chinese restaurants, I would argue that their pricing are a little expensive! Anyone in the neighborhood searching for delicious Cantonese cuisine should definitely check it out, in my opinion. The proprietors are welcoming and will always make you feel welcome.“

“You know the food is gonna be a bomb when you see owners letting their kids around lol. It’s actually very common in Asian countries. When you see the owner of the kids around, even helping to the staff, you know you’re in the right place.

Staff might be trained as there is no napkins and chopsticks around sometimes, as some people are really picky when it comes to the service. However I don’t really care as long as staff is nice towards you and food is good so no complaint“

“I didn’t want to leave this review prematurely, so I made sure to visit this place five times over the course of three months before writing it. I wanted to see if the quality stayed consistent and it absolutely did.

I’ve tried all the classics: here chicken broccoli, boneless ribs, fried chicken, sesame chicken, orange chicken, steak and peppers, white rice, pork fried rice, shrimp fried rice, and vegetable fried rice. Every single time, the food was hot, fresh, flavorful, and honestly nostalgic in the best way possible. It reminds me of how great some of the classic Chinese takeout spots used to be years ago.

The prices are incredible for the quality and portions you get, and the staff always greet you with a smile when placing your order. That kind of consistency and customer service is hard to find nowadays.
