“I stopped in Ramsey Chinese Food for dinner which is in a strip mall near City Hall where I had to visit that night. We were having a cold front and I was really in the mood for some soup. I saw that they had Cantonese Wonton soups on the menu and I thought this would be great. So I ordered the House Special Cantonese Soup, which had a nice portion of Roast Pork, Shrimp and Chicken in it with Lo Mein noodles in a rich chicken broth. \n\nIt was not the richer chicken broth I was used to in these soups but the owner’s daughter explained to me that she was catering to the locals who like a clearer stock. It was still delicious. They put lots of meats and I had the opinion for vegetables which I declined. I really enjoyed it and it cleared me up and I felt better.\n\nI think the egg rolls were made in house and were perfectly fried and filled with chopped roast pork and cabbage. They were wonderful. I ate at the restaurant and they have a nice tv where I could watch the local news. It was a nice dinner and I liked their very friendly owners. \n\nYou will have a nice meal here.“

“This place is a gem! My husband has been coming here since he’s been a kid. We were in the area and decided to stop in and eat. They were very pleasant and friendly on the phone when I called to place the order. The owner immediately recognized my husband once we arrived and was very welcoming. The servers work their tails off, and they’re lovely, but unfortunately they’re juggling dine-in and takeout and the latter is voluminous. The decor is dated, but I prefer they keep it that way and not raise prices!“

They give you a free bottle of soda if you spend more than a certain amount. Never quite figured out what it is though - maybe $50?

“There are alot of bad/lackluster chinese food spots in the area, thankfully this is not one of them. You can usually gauge a place by the quality of their beef, and Good Taste knocks it out of the park. Really fresh, quality ingredients and delicious. “You know the food is gonna be a bomb when you see owners letting their kids around lol. It’s actually very common in Asian countries. When you see the owner of the kids around, even helping to the staff, you know you’re in the right place.

Staff might be trained as there is no napkins and chopsticks around sometimes, as some people are really picky when it comes to the service. However I don’t really care as long as staff is nice towards you and food is good so no complaint“
