“Checked out this Chinese restaurant and the food was pretty tasty. But what stood out was how genuinely nice the staff were—they went out of their way to make sure we were happy, even giving us some extra food. Their kindness definitely made the visit worthwhile.“
“What i love about this place is the food is so natural and delicious, you can taste in the food that no preservatives or none natural ingredients are used, very calming seating area,I would highly recommend to pre-order your food half hour before so you don't have to wait in the busy hour's.“
“This place is certainly one of the most attractive place to eat in the area. Whenever I come there I am absolutely happy. They preserve their very high level service and the topmost level of cooking they offer. You will be always satisfied with this restaurant. Very recommended.“
“Dominique, thank you for the wonderfully attentive service you provided my family tonight. We celebrated my mother-in-law's birthday and you helped make it extra special. Great service, great food, and great atmosphere; these are the reasons for which we keep returning to P.F. Chang's.“
“Atmosphere was nice and pleasurable to eat with the family. I tried a lot of different foods and all was good. Some things like sweet and sour soup excellent. The sushi could use some work. A nice spot to go with the whole family because they will all find something. The staff was very nice and attentive.“
“Bardonia Oriental is consistently our favorite go-to place for Chinese food. The chicken is most often quite delicious and tender, regardless of the dish that it's placed with. I'm most often preferred chicken with broccoli however I had chicken with Chinese vegetables last night and found it to be absolutely scrumptious! The beef with snow peas is delicious as well. One of our dear friends is Chinese and she refuses to eat Chinese food anywhere but there if that's any indication of the quality of their food. The egg rolls can be hit or miss at times having so much grease they're impossible to consume and other times being so delicious I would eat multiples if I had them! There thick Chinese noodles are rarely greasy and always delicious especially with duck sauce. We prefer the mustard that comes in a container to the hot sauce in a package. I would not recommend requesting sauce on the side as I have done a times because somehow the chicken and broccoli become overdone. Overall, as I've said there isn't any other Chinese restaurant in Rockland County that has earned my respect and is much repeat business as Bardonia Oriental. I forgot to mention how much we enjoyed the crab with cream cheese appetizer! They are very good at following specific orders so if you like your vegetables al dente to preserve the nutrients and simply let them know how long you would like to cook it the vegetables. Otherwise the broccoli tends to be somewhat soggy. With a little bit of accommodation and finagling and won't improved consistency for the egg rolls, I would delightfully add the extra star all the way! Happy eating!Vegetarian options: Please read my review regarding the cooking of the vegetables. If you would like your vegetables to preserve maximum nutritional value, I would recommend requesting them to be a little hard. And definitely not mushy.“
“This place has great food and is always busy whenever I go! I've tried a few of their dishes but my favorite is the mapo tofu. They also have vegetarian options including soup dumplings! What really sets them apart is their service. Everyone is truly SO friendly!“
“Been coming here since I was a kid and it's been my favorite place for Chinese food all these years. The quality of the food is fantastic and I think it's gotten better over time! Their sesame chicken was my favorite as a kid and since I became a pescatarian, their sesame tofu has become my favorite! They always managed to make their chicken so crisp and they do the same with their tofu! And the sesame sauce is my favorite I've had. Highly recommend!!!Kid-friendliness: As a kid I was in love with the decorations and art! Still love it as an adult“
“Arguably the best prices around, especially the lunch special. Very accommodating and very polite up front. Food is delicious and the portions are excellent. Cannot recommend this place enough.Vegetarian options: General Tso’s Tofu is a great vegetarian option.“
“I had to deduct one star because my favorite Layl Shishi item is no longer on the menu. The VIP Cholent Plate (aka the Heimishe Sombrero) was truly a dish worthy of the VIP mantle. Cholent (bean or barley), potato kugel, kiskha, jachnun, eggs, Gedempte Fleish and two slices of garlic toast. Truly a way to end the workweek and rocket towards Shabbos. The poppers are still a strong contender tho - so I'll typically get those for my forschpeiz and get a sombrero elsewhere. Solid eating.“
