“Highly recommend this restaurant. The staff members are so friendly and polite and are very attentive and go out of their ways to accommodate your needs and wants . The food is excellent and very high quality. Great menu selections . There is something that's likely to satisfy everyone from the menu. The salmon dish with garlic , general TSO chicken were great . Best I've ever had from any Chinese food restaurants before. Highly recommend the crispy broccoli rods appetiser and the chefs special of Szechuan meatballs which were amazing.this place will definitely be my new favorite Chinese restaurant..hats off to the chef .if you have the chance to eat here then you really should and if not then you won't know or believe what you missed out on.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.“

“In my continued quest to find a New York style Chinese restaurant, based on recommendations from neighbors, I tried this restaurant. I ordered online at their website which was fairly easy to do. Being a bargain hunter I couldn’t resist the family dinner for six. It came with six egg rolls, six chicken on sticks, six cheese wontons, 2 quarts of soup, two quarts of fried rice, and choice of three entrees. It came with all of the appropriate sauces, crispy noodles, etc. The delivery was promised in 55 minutes and the food arrived exactly on-time. The egg rolls were crispy and very good. The chicken on the stick was very moist and tasty. The wonton soup was tasty and very traditional. The cheese wontons were a very nice starter and the dipping sauce added nice sweetness. For entrees we had sesame chicken which got a thumbs up from my wife. I ordered roast pork lo mein which was also a thumb up. I struggled deciding on a third entree and finally gave in to honey chicken (not my personal favorite because of the thick coating batter). Overall, a very competent dinner. I’m glad the food was really good because we’ll be eating the leftovers for many days!“

“Came here for lunch, they have a lunch special Monday-Saturday 11am-3pm. I had the general Tso chicken. Overall my food was good. It was spicy, fresh, and flavorful. The restaurant is clean and tidy, although, they should make it look prettier with some Chinese decor. Food was served fast. No complaints or issues. I would recommend this restaurant.“

“I came to the restaurant in the hope of getting a plate of sashimi. However, the menu did not have it available except for a small couple of pieces portion or a la carte. So I had a sushi roll version made up for me with cucumber. Because it's not a traditional Japanese sushi sashimi place with many fresh fish options, I only had the basic fish options like tuna, salmon and yellowtail. In terms of freshness, it was good. I'm sure the regular sushi rolls are fine but I didn't try any since my heart was set on sashimi. They tried the best they could to accommodate me.“

“I love this Chinese spot ! The people are great that attend the place . And the food is really good ! The place is also clean which is always is a plus. The wait time though it a little long so it’s always better to call ahead and place the order so you don’t have to wait. Other than that ! Best Chinese place in Garfield !“

“Went there for lunch and ordered a sesame chicken meal and paid about $10, but boy was it worth it! The food was good and the meal came with an egg roll plus pork fried rice and really filled me up. 10/10 would definitely eat here again.

“I enjoyed my lunch here - the scallion pancakes were really tasty! The fried rice was a little underwhelming, but all in all the meal was tasty. I would recommend as a quick lunch spot or you can order ahead like me! Side note - the guy working the front was very kind :)

“Best local place for traditional Americanized Chinese food. They usually have the order ready within 20 minutes from your call and are reasonably cheap for the size of the portions. Each dish is flavorful and its a nice treat when you don't feel like cooking. They have a small parking lot in front too for covenience if you pick up!

It’s only been a few times that I’ve been able to stop in since I don’t live close, but whenever I’m in Ridgewood, I like to get something to eat here. “Wife and I just bought our first Home and have been searching for the best Chinese food store with the best tasting food. Everything is properly seasoned food is always hot and the portions are great. Also other Chinese food in the area use a weird type of Rice which is disgusting but Golden Garden’s fried rice is to die for. The price is awesome for the quality of food we received. Thank God we Found our Favorite take out spot makes us feel Like we’re back in New York City.

I called and they told me that they would fix my order a little later when the driver has a nearby delivery. I wasn’t sure wether or not I’d get my dish, but eventually they did come and swap the dish….not something you can take for granted these days when gas prices are through the roof.
