“We have been ordering take out from China 23 since they opened and have always been satisfied with the quality of the food. My last order I mistakenly ordered "volcano" wonton instead of the regular. I didn't realize my goof until I got home and read the receipt. I called back and they told me they make me the wonton right away if I would come back to pick it up. When I returned, I was told no charge for the regular wonton. “Been going to China City for 20+ years and surprised I haven't reviewed it on Google. By far my favorite place in Parsippany for Chinese Food. Recently did an early mother's day celebration and food as always it was delicious, fresh, and made for a perfect meal. Ordered a bunch of food including soup, steamed dumplings, egg rolls, General Tso's Chicken, Sesame chicken, hot and spicy chicken, pork fried rice, and beef lomein. Despite the large order, food was ready as promised and was 100% correct with no screw ups. Family was happy and it made a great meal. Definitely my 1st choice when it comes to Chinese Food in the Parsippany area.“

“Fairlawn's Hunan Wok is a fantastic restaurant. I've been going there for approximately 15 years, and I still really like the meal. Although their cuisine isn't as greasy as that of some Chinese restaurants, I would argue that their pricing are a little expensive! “The food at this Chinese restaurant is super good. I recently moved to Fairfield and needed to find a good spot for Chinese takeout out. So, I tried joy wok. I ordered sesame chicken combo and the Mongolian beef. They were both super good. I don’t normally like my sesame chicken a little spicy and they made it just right for me.
The customer service is also great. I had accidentally ordered white rice with the Mongolian beef and when I picked up my order they switched it to fried rice right away with no extra charge. Everyone there is super nice. Definitely recommend if you are in the area in search of a good Chinese spot.“
