Dinner was so delicious last night that we decided to return again today for lunch. Always outstanding year after year... this is the first place we visit when we return to New Jersey!
I've had two nice visits to Aoyama. They're right up the road from me, so the convenience definitely plays a role in my rating. The sushi is of good quality. On my second visit I sat at the bar and the itamae working all the sushi prep magic was very attentive asking how everything was. The atmosphere is nice as well with clean surroundings and a non-cluttered setup.

Be careful to order sushi or a standard Japanese entree at this Chinese/Japanese restaurant. If not you may be in trouble, as we experienced the non-Japenese entrees can be very bad, and the staff will not agree with you.We ordered the Japanese entree Beef Udon and the non-Japaneae entree baked "Black Bass" at the restaurant, just because it looked attractive on the menu, and our server agreed with our choice.
