“I've had two nice visits to Aoyama. They're right up the road from me, so the convenience definitely plays a role in my rating. The sushi is of good quality. On my second visit I sat at the bar and the itamae working all the sushi prep magic was very attentive asking how everything was. The atmosphere is nice as well with clean surroundings and a non-cluttered setup.“

“Even if you're not into Chinese food, you've got to admire the style that comes with it. My top-tier chums and I came here for lunch yesterday after The Pasta Shop had a 90-minute wait (which annoyed them/pretty much quashed any interest they had in trying to go back, and made me want to go even more - so it goes), and were rewarded with approximately a 30-second wait for a table here. Boy is there a lot to look at; I'm not going to risk using incorrect terminology in describing this building, but it's a lot. I'm assuming it's a fairly accurate interpretation of an "authentic" Chinese structure, but that's as far as I'm going. Very unique, very cool. And as someone who has spent a bit of time at a time vortex Chinese place in Rockland County of late, apparently aquariums are a big part of the decor.If you're looking for information on Hunan's authentic Chinese dishes, you've come to the wrong place - we went so basic, we might as well have ordered this with a side of Uggs and a Pumpkin Spice Latte. I ordered my tried and true Sweet & Sour Chicken, one top-tier chum ordered the Sesame Chicken, and the other top-tier chum ordered General Tso's Chicken. The edgiest item we procured were the steamed pork dumplings app to share.Everything here was very solid. These are obviously items that we'd typically get from a hole-in-the-wall takeout establishment, so it was a nice change of pace to eat the chicken off of actual plates (maybe most people do that too with their takeout orders, but I'm a barbarian through and through). The two keys for me when it comes to sweet & sour chicken are ensuring the chicken isn't overly deep fried where you're eating more fried skin than meat, and that the sauce is on the thicker side. Hunan checked off both boxes here, and since it was served with some vegetables, etc., there was some extra flavoring at play as well. The dumplings were very good as well. I've become more of a soup dumpling adherent in recent years, but I liked the seasoning in the pork and was pleased we got something other than generic chicken with our meal.The service overall was above average. I thought it slowed down noticeably towards the end, though we weren't in a rush or anything. But we'd clearly stopped eating and didn't receive a visit from anyone to pack up the leftovers for about 20 minutes - not egregious, and there were tons of staffers all over the place and it would have been very easy to hail someone down if the urgent need arose. Beyond that, everyone we interacted with was pleasant and efficient.One of my chums noted a party room in the back and was openly pondering the possibility of returning in the near future and hosting a birthday in there. I wasn't QUITE as blown away by this place as she was, but I'd definitely come back. “Yung lan is definitely the best Chinese food in the area. The wonton soup has substantial pieces of roast pork and not skimpy like most places. Broccoli was cooked perfectly and not undercooked like most places. The egg foo young is very tasty and a substantial portion. The chicken fried rice has a generous amount of white meat chicken pieces, unlike most places. This place does it right for sure! “This place is unbelievably good.. we were driving from NY to Toronto, and exited for the Cracker Barrel (blah) and found this spot by chance.. best meal we have had in a long time.. we know our Asian food as we are big foodies from Toronto and know our stuff! The food taste was amazing, the choices were many.. the prices were Very reasonable, service was impeccable and fast. My wife is vegan so they totally catered to her!! “I honestly fell in love with this Asian restaurant after a whole year moving into this area. I was really having a hard time on finding good Asian restaurants and all of them have awful reviews or disgusting discoveries. I'm happy to say this place given me hope and reminded me of an previous restaurant I went to all the time for quick eats or cheap options. I never had a problem coming here and it's always fresh whenever you come in for take out. I had no idea they had other options of Asian dishes until the bento box took me by surprise. It was so rich in flavor and tasted absolutely delicious. It's by far the best restaurant for the money and quality. “Coriander soup is always delicious. Ribs are horrible. The whole fish is on point. Fried rice is always good. Overall I really like this place. A few menu items I've learned to stay away from. Honestly I can't get enough of their coriander soup, it's soo good.“

“The chicken almond ding is very good here. They make the general tsos chicken extra spicy if you ask them. This is one of the better chinese take out joints in the area. I haven't had everything on the menu, but I've been eating there a long time and have ordered a variety of dishes. “Best Chinese in the area! I get the chicken with broccoli and crab rangoons every time and it is always consistent. Their prices are a little more than surrounding Chinese restaurants but their food quality is amazing. The chicken is real chicken and doesn’t taste stringy or rubbery. The veggies in the dish and veggie rice are cooked perfectly. I will go to them forever! I order online so I don’t deal with anyone except to pick up my food hit every time they’ve been very quick and efficient. 10 out of 10 would recommend!“

“Hard time finding "excellent" Chinese food. This was good, solid but nothing that screams come back here. Ordered (2) spring rolls not realizing there were (3) spring rolls in each order. This is quite a bargain. They were good, but needed to be crispier wrapper. Had that been the case they would have been excellent. Ordered the broccoli with garlic sauce and an order of beef with snow peas. The broccoli was not what I expected. I actually expected just broccoli with a nice garlic sauce but this had mushrooms, peppers and carrots. This could be a hunan thing so no points knocked off for that but I would ask for broccoli only on the next to go order. The beef was for my husband and he seemed to like it. Overall, it's decent. As others have noted, the interior does not encourage dining in but it is likely that this is a business that caters to take out.“

“I ordered through Grub Hub , and was VERY pleased with the food I ordered. The wonton soup and chicken lo mein were both tasty. It's my new go-to Chinese take out. I didn't like the Grub Hub delivery: no text advising it had been delivered, nor did the driver ring my doorbell, so the food sat outside in the cold, most likely for over an 1/2 hour. :(“

“I got takeout recently and it’s pretty good! I definitely recommend the chicken with broccoli or sesame chicken if you’re looking for some classic American Chinese food. To go a bit more authentic, I would one hundred percent suggest the sliced fish in a chili sauce. Not as much veggies that I would like but the hot chili sauce is delicious and portions are fantastic. I also really like bamboo shoots so I get that with shredded pork.Now for my standard comments. There’s not too much space to eat in or too many employees, not like they used to have. Service is not bad. Takeout is pretty quick if you call ahead or order online.“
