Last minute having a few people over. I decided to order from here because my adult boys loves this. My sister usually gets it from Newark. I never knew this place existed til driving home I seen this place.. so much closer.. well I got so many compliments. They said it was delicious. I missed out. It was all gone..it was the pan of fries, rice and whole chicken. We did have other food but next time 2-3 trays. Thank you

Wow..... everything. A simple as I can put it.
Just a quick add with some detail...the homemade potato chips are like a drug, they are addictive. Recently had the combo chicken & beef ribs. The beef ribs were not what I expected, size wise. But they cut them long ways, quite interesting as they are very thin. But they are perfectly and incredibly spiced and are just delicious! The chicken is off the charts good. So happy this place is local to me!!

I was excited to try a new Portuguese restaurant. I grew up in Newark and there is nothing more delicious than food that brings you back home. Service was good, clean, nice people. I ordered Portuguese pork picadinho and it didn’t taste authentic, the classic flavors were missing. The shrimp garlic also fell short.I was told that Portugalo BBQ was sold and maybe that is when the flavors were lost.
