I've heard a lot about this place,but really compared to other local Portuguese restaurants nothing special, food is ok , service ok but wouldn't go back ,had ribs that weren't hot first of all,and oily & not tender
We had a party of 9 and planned on going to Tops Diner before a concert at Prudential Center on Valentine's Day. They weren't taking reservations and when we got there, the wait time was going to be close to 2 hours, time we did not have. A quick internet search brought us to Pic-Nic. My husband called and spoke to the owner, I believe his name was John, and explained our situation and that we had 2 disabled people in our party. He made sure we had a parking spot and...
Dramatics aside, got the #14 combo (half chicken/ribs) and the meat was perfectly tender and seasoned. The chicken could be cooked like a minute or two less but otherwise decided this is THE bbq platter spot for me.
