Poppies Deli is the best store in Essex County for food, Sandwiches (Chop Cheese exactly how it’s made in NY), Salads, burgers anything you like they make. Great Customer service everytime I stop by. I relocated to Middlesex County and still drive back for the Food.

Don’t underestimate this place because of location. I’ve been an East Orange resident for many years and have frequented this place quite a bit. The staff are Spanish speaking but can understand some English, they are friendly and very helpful. The store is clean, the deli section is also clean I like they make your food in front of you, the veggies are fresh, portion sizes are generous and the food is affordable and tasty also has a wide variety of choices.
