So, my company ordered food for Christmas and for what they paid, they were hoodwinked, bamboozled and led astray.....plus the food was flavorless and lacked seasoning. I’m so disappointed

The place smells heavenly, . The Manager Raheem was very friendly and introduced himself to me and we spoke about the restaurant. I ordered breakfast whiting, grits and eggs. Very good and the fish was done to perfection. They have a new dining area as well. I will be back and please don't judge by the location, it's safe.

Purchased chicken wing dinner along with greens and sweet potatoes.Wings had not been cleaned also not cooked all the way. Greens were ok however will not be returning. Wings were not crisp at all, so much hair on them that you had to eat around it. Staff was friendly however.

I've tried this place a few times thinking I just didn't like what I ordered. For starters the price point is to high for the neighborhood. The prices are close to Sylvia's in Harlem and it's a takeout restaurant. It wouldn't be so bad if the food was good but I've tried a few things and only liked the potato salad. I won't be back

Just leftsoul food delight in east orange. I only bought wings but every time I come down here I try new things. Only to compare to where I work. #soulfoodchesshouse. The wings suck and they robbed me for my tips,,/ wing tips. Never again. $5.35 for what?
